A friend has asked if this would be OK at a private party. One containing like minded individuals who are more open with their......sexuality?
And 8 years ago no President was ever black so......progress?
Actually, that one is perfect. Although I’d reserve it for the leadership and the actual people in office.
He knows about pardoning a turkey every year right? That’s very important.
LOL,the party certainly didn’t seem to think so did they?
Trump has, but sadly, if you search for “Trump condemns” you don’t get anything from US News sources other than a mention on the New York Times about him and the GOP condemning a planned KKK victory parade. Even though the 60 minutes interview aired 2 hours ago, only foreign news sources have the soundbite about him…
From what I’ve seen so far, when a Democrat wins, the stories are about how Republicans take out their anger about losing on Democrats. When a Republican wins, the stories are about how Republicans take out their pent up frustration on Democrats. In either case, Republicans are all bad and Democrats are all good.
Well, that’s disappointing then. Personally, I’ve been very careful to try and have meaningful back and forth conversations with people that disagree with me. If they restort to name calling though, I’m dismissing them.
It’s not about having an opinion (i didn’t read any of the messages they were talking about). It’s about the people who will decide that their “opinion” needs to include calling someone a dumbass or a fucking idiot as part of their message. Which is something that HAS been rampant this past week for some reason.
You don’t know if she was the best candidate because the DNC didn’t bother trying to find a better one. They anointed her as the next President 8 years ago and wouldn’t listen to anyone else.
But some of the writers on these blogs even stated that they were holding their nose and pushing button for Hillary. If that’s a sentiment shared by many of the voters then that count doesn’t really mean much for enthusiasm.
What about flagging them for hatespeech? Does that work?
Wow, someone doesn’t like our conversation. We actual have -1 replies somehow.
North texas for me. So it must be national. Cracks me up every time.
That sort of sounds like a pattern Rush Limbaugh was going on and on about in the few weeks leading up to the election. He kept saying that there were people in the rural areas that weren’t being polled and people that hadn’t voted in previous elections were going to come out in droves.
Any other regions have that commercial on the radio where the woman says she doesn’t go number 1 or number 2 and asks if there’s a number 3?
Right. I guy I know calls it “grudge fucking”. Same idea though.
We’ll see where it goes. If he’s as xenophobic as people are making him out to be then he SHOULD be totally against the H1Bs.
