I wonder why AZ did vote it for recreational? When I was there last week it seemed like it was pretty openly smoked anyway. Seemed like a simple step to just legalize it.

No, Democrats should a fielded a better candidate. The party promised Hillary the White House 8 years ago, and again this year. This time, they did every underhanded trick they could to make sure they got her there instead of finding a fresh candidate.

I know there are VERY rural pockets of backwoods racism in this country but painting the rural whites as racist is innaccurate. I believe relatively few people voted FOR Trump. They voted AGAINST Hillary, AGAINST 4 more years of Obama, and AGAINST the establishment. I think they would have voted for Baby Iguana if he were on the ticket just to get someone that did’t owe favors to Wall Street and half of Congress.

That’s fine. If it were up to me, the vice presidential candidates would have been our presidential choices anyway.
