I’ve been there 3 times and it never gets old. Grats!

Bring back COTD.
Agreed, and funny enough, I wasn’t even thinking about a lift when I typed that. I was thinking more about upgrading the axle shafts and ujoints with some Yukon pieces. If I were thinking lift, it would be something like OME which has been tried and tested over a bajillion miles doing this exact type of thing.
Yeah, I was baffled by the decision as well, and I’ve had several.
Anyone wanna take bets on how long it will take the “aftermarket” to come up with solutions around feature paywalls? Car manufacturers are incredibly lax with security and the CAN bus is a known variable. Give me the base model and let me download the upgrades from that Buccaneer Cove place.
Even in the proper flavor.
Nothing tic toc is worth seeing.
I hope they never have to correct a skid with that as well. That thing is dangerous.
Rimac would like a word with you.
You could always tune if that unfortunate circumstance happened. I know there’s the ethical issue, but buying a $1500 aftermarket solution and keeping your truck on the road and allowing you to work is a small price to pay. I ran into a similar issue with the dpf/def system on my Duramax, so I have unfortunate…
I just went ahead and stole my own.
I don’t need to sit in or drive it to know that it does not have luxury appointments in the cabin, that’s what pictures are for. Also, panel gaps. Also, home depot materials in production. Tesla isn’t a luxury brand, they’re just expensive smartphones on wheels.
Luxury in price only, the cockpit is not a pretty place to be sitting, nor does the overall design convey anything but appliance vehicle.
Unfortunately, numbers don’t lie, and the manufacturers that have and read those numbers know exactly what we’re going to buy.
Just got a quote for these two bikes separately from Geico using my current info and the zero was about 10 bucks higher per month. Price matters more than you think.
I wish folks wouldn’t put up arbitrary numbers when making comparisons like this. Insurance will be cheaper on the cheaper bike, maintenance cost difference is negligible but I’ll give you oil and gas consumables, breakdowns will not be an issue on either bike. Its easily a wash over the first 5 years of ownership,…
I’ll concede that electric will work for leisurely riding. That’s just a foreign concept to me when going offroad, so something like this makes my brain hurt when you could grab something like a KTM 890R for 5k less and rip circles around it.
Yeah, I guess I get it. There’s just so many good adventure bikes in the 15-20k range, and you did mention that this bike is not really suited to the terrain. I’m just used to riding when I ride, but I can see the appeal of cruising to a campsite, drinking around a fire and coming home the next day.
I just can’t see the appeal of electric for this type of riding. They’re too heavy and don’t have enough range to be able to enjoy the ride without that niggling sensation in the back of your mind about being stranded without juice.
