Very interesting, thanks for sharing that!

Did you know that the Coast Guard was there? Check out this for more information:

There are no plans for centennial paint on the Hercs... Not sure why they are not doing them, but as for now there are no plans. They are painting two of the 144's, which are getting a blue fuselage, with yellow wings, amd a red white and blue tail. It is a striking paint scheme!

SEMPER PARATUS! Doing all they can with what they have.

Happy Anniversary to Coast Guard Air. Thank you for going out when everyone else says, “ah, no.”

Tyler,

Its on a fixed pylon powered by the backup hyd pump.

Quite excited you wrote about this Tyler—was actually thinking about sending you a picture of one.

The side pods are fuel tanks for extended range and loiter time. Up front on the nose, we have the surface search radar in the extended nose, with a FLIR system, a day/night video camera system, and most likely a searchlight as well. Lots of specialized goodies compared to the other services Sea/Black/Hawks.

The black and yellow pods are fuel tanks on the stub wings. Usually two 120 gal and an 80 gal.

120 gal fuel tanks on the sides and search/weather radar in the nose.

Honestly, I think it is ugly, so even if I won the lottery, I would not buy one!

Lets see...

How about exterior airbags?

That is a nice looking car, but have you seen the Buick Avista? That thing is pure sex. I can’t believe I just said that about a GM product, let alonea Buick...

I will buy this for .... $600

ish?

I was originally going the same route!
