THANK YOU. Oh my dear God in heaven, this song is WRETCHED. My wife and I both have painfully visceral reactions to this song when we're subjected to it.

I don't know if this counts as "one thing", but one of my biggest disappointments in the prequels is how lackluster the big reveal of Darth Sidious is in RotS. Specifically, when Anakin draws his lightsabre against Palpatine in the hallway outside his office. The pacing, acting, camera angles… everything about it is

I am very sad that I will no longer get my almost-weekly dose of Lou the chihuahua. I love that little guy. He was game for anything.

"Quiet, dog!"
SPLASH

I have yet to read the article, but for the headline alone: THANK YOU.

I completely disagree about this episode's demon being lackluster. That amazingly subtle effect of the body being indistinct/flickering but the scary mouth staying clear and rock-steady… that was inspired. And Ash's taunt: "You know, you look nothing like your picture, so… you may wanna do something about that." Ha!

I'm "Labyrinth"-era David BAOW-ie.

I used the Emmerich/Devlin "Godzilla" for my surround sound showing-off. The first "fire!" scene where all the guns and missiles are going off and the buildings are crumbling. A terrible film, but a very immersive sound scape. Especially back in 2000.

This is going to sound like a joke, but I'm serious: I would love to live in a universe where "Laserblast" was remade by Stanley Kubrick.

Jeez, I thought that me and my friend were the only two people on earth who still regularly listen to and love this song. Glad to know we're not alone.

I don't know if any Micronaut script could match the expectations of fans like this:

He's really stacking up those hours.

That episode is in season 4. It's titled "Home". Yes, the entire family is all deformed from years of inbreeding. That one was so over-the-top it got banned… Fox never reran it, and it wasn't included in the syndication packages either, if I remember correctly.

My first gut reaction to this question: the Salt Vampire from "Star Trek". Creeped the everliving HELL out of me as a kid. Brrr! Just writing about it now is making the hair stand up on the back of my neck.

Noel: "Walk with me."
Liam: "Fuck you". [throws a bottle]

Upvoted because no one but you and I seem to remember, let alone like, Sleeper.

Tulip is in this trailer. She kicks the guy in the face in the backseat of the car.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for that picture of Mrs. Doyle. It turned what was already a crappy day into a big nostalgic romp through my "Father Ted" memories.

I just finished watching the DVD set last week. I was glued to the TV when this series was first-run, and it informed a lot of the humor I enjoyed with my friends at work. (This and "The Ben Stiller Show".) I love Chris Elliott, and it's a crime that he's not a bigger star.
