and since I can’t edit my last post (???) I should clarify, these karts builds aren’t necessarily unsafe, they are less safe compared to a manufactured car. A properly built kart can be incredibly safe even in the event of a serious accident. but nothing will replace doors and windows.

there is no denying that these “kart” builds are unsafe, but I don’t think anyone goes in with the intention of building something that won’t perform as they think it will.
