I do recall wine providing relief for some health issues, but alcohol as a health agent makes as much sense as marijuana for the same purpose, in which case both should probably require a prescription.

Somehow, a politically charged article just doesn’t seem like such a good idea for Lifehacker, at the very least, try to be a bit more neutral about it, sprinkle it with pics and references to figures on both sides of the spectrum, or better yet, use distant political or historical figures at least.

I looked over some FODMAP charts, they do not match my symptoms at all, some things in the avoid part are safe for me, some in the safe part make me sick, etc. But it is interesting research, I guess my issue is something else, currently suspecting chlorophyll as a possibility, but even this is not consistent in my

It’s the most rewarding thing you can ever do indeed, because if you are loving, kind, fair, doing the best you can while not being perfect, kids always appreciate your efforts, as long as you don’t raise them with a sense of entitlement or a victim mentality.

Thanks, though I am not allergic to fruit. Usually.

It’s a thought, but I am not allergic to fruit, only vegetables, grains and nuts, and some beans, all beans if not prepared very carefully.

Cooking helps reduces the reaction somewhat, but only with certain foods, it doesn’t eliminate it, and both repetition and addition always results in severe symptoms.

Thanks, I love Kimchi, I can on rare occasions eat it without too many repercussions, and it does make me feel great, but my body rebels against the seasonings used, so it belongs in the category of pushing the envelope, if I eat it more than a few times, severe migraines return.

A coke and a couple of charcoal pills are my usual remedy for food poisoning. The coke kills the bacteria, the charcoal absorbs the toxins and reduces the diarrhea. The coke might help with nausea, though I find Ginger Ale better for that.

Anybody heard of truly helpful resources on food intolerance, when what your body cannot tolerate is vegetables, most grains, or most healthy things??

Wow, it’s been years since the last time I saw a description of exercise without photographs! I much prefer drawings/graphic illustrations or animations rather than photographs or videos when it comes to looking at exercise positions and examples, or much anything else to do with human body illustrations.

Nah, I can tell the difference between nagging thoughts and continual perceived sound.

Is tinnitus the same as the noise you hear in the presence of absolute silence, as in camping or during an extended electric power failure?

Many years ago I slipped in the shower and injured my hip.

I don’t know. Neither the article referenced, nor the counterpoint of this piece, make any sense to me. Both seem to have somewhat of a sense of misogyny/misandry/victim mentality about them.

I reached that conclusion a few years ago, I am just revisiting the question since all three platforms have evolved a lot since then (and because of Microsoft policy changes on spying). LibreOffice is better than before, but not better enough.

LibreOffice and OpenOffice is what I was referring to when I said Office support is lacking, the Word & Excel templates and charts I use are not well supported, display and print is quite off., and the fine detail control is missing.

Ok, here is an actual question:

Some people near and dear to me use the devil’s advocate routine nearly every time we have a conversation, even if they agree 200% with what I am saying (one actually feels it is the only way to figure things out in her head), it makes carrying a conversation quite trying at times, so sometimes I attribute to them

What I like best about lifehacker, is that it provides answers to questions I didn’t know I had until I saw them, particularly in practical areas of life.
