Main thing that gets me is the smell of an old car, the old leather feel, the ride, the thin-ass steering wheel, as well as constantly opening the hood just to to check on things... My old Volvo Brick covered more miles on a flatbed than under its own power. Still I enjoyed it.

I would say "Park" is a much more likely scenario since it would technically take more work to put a car in neutral on level ground, than slamming it into Park... You'd have to purposely leave it there, which most Americans just won't do.
