Greyworm and Missandei are periphery useless characters. So what is the point of developing them? Especially at this stage of the series?

Agreed. She's a complete cartoon. Giving a high pitched child character "adult" things to say is meant as nothing more than to elicit the reaction of "isn't that cute…she's so spunky". Barf. It's a series about war. Destroys the credibility of the show to have a 10 year old speaking as some authoritarian figure. …
Emilia Clarke sucks as an actress, but Dany sucks even worse a character. Very one dimensional.
The show took a drastic turn for the worse with this episode, primarily because it spent so much time/scenes on things completely irrelevant and inconsequential to the story.
Because it was trash and should not even be in the episode. The quicker those 2 are killed off the better.
Any scene that has no bearing on the ultimate story arc should have been cut out. Missandei and GreyWorm love story being first and foremost.
Lets just say that those two having sex, or being friends, or caring about each other, or just hating each other, or just being coworkers….has NO BEARING on the ultimate story. It's completely inconsequential.
Opinions? They are facts. I outlined what happened in this episode, and why it sucked.
That would be way too boring and straight forward. It be much more entertaining if Sansa, now power hungry, turns on Jon Snow and joins forces with Littlefinger. Also, hopefully she bangs him (willingly), which will make her turn all the more heelish. That would be good TV. Sansa has always been too innocent and…
This episode SUCKED. It contained everything that caused prior episodes from prior seasons to suck..
I don't understand book readers that are upset with how the TV guys decide to make the show. Wouldn't you rather be surprised at what happens than already know what is going to happen if they follow everything in the books?
Sansa's character has always been that of a protected naive idiot. That she's been the wife of two pschopaths (Ramsey and Joffrey) and overseen how evil people can be does not mean she's suddenly an expert on anything.
Lady Mornmont is a complete cartoon. So dumb and pandering.
Jon being an alpha male, instead of an emasculated pajama man is a good development of his character. After they had the whiny brat (no doubt reading her lines) talk down to that elder man, I was worried they were going to have Jon go down the same path with Sansa. Instead, he put his foot down and decided to lead.
Loved this episode. Strong acting thru out. No wasted filler. And hardly any Dany, which was perfect. Even Sam wasn't annoying like he usually is.
But when you have cyclical plots, isn't transitioning to situational comedy better for the viewer? When seemingly every serious problem Pied Piper faces is solved in the end by miraculous intervention, it's like ok doing that once is interesting. If you do that over and over again, as a viewer you become less…
Seinfeld worked without a driven plot because they never had a plot to begin with. It was always one singular episode, followed by another. Silicon Valley has used plot devices from it's inception, so when it goes nowhere and constantly gets re-set, you start to feel like it is an annoying device that takes away…
Yeah, I don't know how a repetitive show, with a few funny lines here and there, can continue to get Bs and above?
Nothing but a continuous repetitive circular plot. Very disappointing. Series reset back to the beginning where it's once again Hooli vs Richard. Boring.
I'm interested in a Breaking Bad prequel with Saul Goodman. The show is called Better Call Saul. Please, lets finally get to that.
