While I loved Letterkenny (partly because I grew up near Listowl and have friends from there), it had worn out it’s welcome. Ending it after this newest season is the right call but.....

The “for what!” thing gets me every fucking time.

Yeah and if this drags on much more, show seasons are going to be cancelled and many of those shows will never come back. So the strike ends in a few months but now there are no jobs to go back to for thousands of people.

The hockey stuff, for me who grew up near Listowel (when they say “going to town” on Letterkenny, they mean my city), was an absolute blast because I grew up with people like that. The hockey characters and culture were the least exaggerated parts of the show.

I dunno, like there is a place for network TV shows that do 22 eps a year. They are usually not as expensive to make because they have a few “home” sets and just re-use them a ton. It works well for sit-coms and procedurals, and I do love me some shows that follow those patterns.

Good for her for getting that money. Might as well do it for how ever long you can until people decide she isn’t hot anymore and it all dries up.

I like Christopher Nolan the director, I really dislike Christopher Nolan the film snob. Kind of how I like Tom Cruise the actor but dislike Tom Cruise the person.

Apparently they were offered pretty much the exact same deal as the writers but the actors want a higher share and a different formula which the studios aren’t willing to do.

And Freddy was very much like his parents in the few episodes he was in but original show had the two “refined” brothers playing off their “unrefined” dad. So now they have the refined dad, playing off the unrefined son and somewhat refined cousin/nephew.

Have gamespass because Starfield (didn’t want to pay 90 CDN for a game that may have well sucked or not run on my PC). Probably keep it for another month then drop it.

Out of the 19 kids, there has to be one, eventually, that will fully turn their backs on their parents, the cult and religion in general. In fact, I’m sure there is at least one, right now, that has but doesn’t have the support structure to make the clean break or is still to young so they just keep smiling.

I would try it vanilla just to see how well it performs for you but the DLSS-G mod for me was a god send, especially in cities/hubs/outdoor spaces with a bunch of stuff. It does seem like this Starfield patch broke it (won’t launch with mod installed) but the mod author will probably have it updated within a day or…

Hopefully it’ll be DLSS-G for frame generation for 40 series cards.

Yeah, I keep subtitles on because by god do some of those NPCs just drag it out. I get it, it’s suppose to be immersive and emotional and all that but there are a bunch of missions where I just want to do the thing.....so subtitles stay on so I can read it quickly, hit E and keep it moving.
