It’s not that I approve of it, but to an extent I understand when testosterone-heavy dude bros or old fashioned guys who work tough physical jobs talk shit about guys not being masculine enough. What I never understand at all is when men who really have no obviously traditionally rugged or masculine qualities like

I think a huge part of the joy of Mario Party is how completely bullshit it is. The game is enormously luck-based, but also not in a way like Monopoly where one person getting a lucky early lead means the rest of the game is basically playing out a formality until they win. Games like Mario Kart or Smash Bros or Call

DC hiring the original director of the film they’re basically trying to rip-off worked out so well for Justice League that I can’t see how this could possibly go wrong here.

I also think that. Seinfeld wanted to attribute young people not laughing to them being too sensitive. Maybe people just don't really find hacky material about floppy hands looking gay and French to be all that hilarious.

Well it is a bit different to John Oliver. Mulaney is clearly just doing a stand up show for pure entertainment value. Oliver tends to format his show more like a sort of mini-documentary with punditry and some jokes, with the goal of pushing some kind of agenda. So it makes sense that people would take his

It’s kind of refreshing seeing a Republican politician who isn’t all in on the whole “Christians are being persecuted” nonsense that Fox News constantly pushes. Shame he’s not equally as chilled out about letting gay people get married.

Why? Is it that unbearable to let groups you disagree with decide their own names? We all know that “pro life” means “against abortion”. It’s a neutral word that everyone understands.

I am not looking forward to the day when he eventually produces an album that is not album-of-the-year material.

Moe and Ethan Bradbury were behind a lot of the anyway.

Is incest porn “vanilla” now?

George Bush openly ran on opposing gay marriage in 2000 and said that he would campaign against it if it came up in Texas. In the 2004 election he said he wanted to introduce a constitutional amendment banning it. He won both of those races. And he still actually worried privately that his relative softness on LGBT

I don’t think any of the presidents full stop would have won if white people couldn’t vote. And that includes Obama.

Sure, but maybe that’s not always a bad thing. Part of cultural diversity is cross pollination and getting some kind of fusion of two different styles. I’d definitely be interested in trying the reverse too where an Asian chef does their own take on some European or American food.

It seems to me like that Gordon Ramsey bit was pretty clearly staged. Like Ramsey or the producers said to the restaurant owner “now make sure to shit talk his Pad Thai”. There’s a smirk on his face that looks like he’s trying to keep a straight face and not laugh.

I think it was saying the friend texted him for 6 weeks, not that he lost the weight in 6 weeks.

Who gets shamed at the gym? I’ve been going to the gym pretty regularly about 4 years now and I’ve never seen anyone approach a fat person to belittle them (or even snigger about it behind their back).

Yeah I was thinking the same, especially when someone said that she posted on Facebook that she even had a zinger coming out the door directed at the “mean woman” stock character (something like “can you open the door, my hands are full?”).

I don’t think she’d really be capable of eating all 20 in one go (if she managed then that would be the big headline here) but I mean, the “all in one go” thing is kind of down to the fact that they are baked goods and won’t last very long. And tbh, if I had 20 cupcakes lying around that were going off soon, I’d

“You’re supposed to take him seriously, not literally!”
