You should tell every F-350 driver not actively towing anything that their vehicle is ‘morally reprehensible.’ I’m not saying I disagree with you - we just need to focus elsewhere.

The people buying these are so loaded it doesn’t matter. For someone earning $5M/year, a $130k car is the same as a person making $100k/year buying a $2,600 car.

Ok fine I guess you would be crazy to buy the Jag. But isn’t that why most people buy a Jag?

A new E63S is $112k and a new Jag XF S Sportbrake is $70k, so those aren’t quite in the same category (also - can I come hang out with your Mom?). The E450 is about the same price - the Jag has a bit more power. I don’t think you’d ‘be crazy’ to by an XFS over an E450.

The problem is Alfa spent everything on performance and then cobbled together an interior- the Giulia/Stelvio are great to drive and look good but the interior fit and finish pales in comparison to an X3/XC60/GLC. I drive an ‘18 Stelvio and my wife an ‘18 XC60. The Alfa is hands-down better to drive, but the Volvo is

Easier to see a flock of goosen flying over the woodsen when your rooves are missing.

Tax the rich!

You don’t actually need a 500 mile range EV

What doesn’t get you any energy at night? Yep, solar.

Oh yeah, mine wasn’t a recall - it was a technical service bulletin. Torch’s wasn’t technically a recall either - it was an extended limited warranty due to a settled class action lawsuit. My assumption is a plastic tensioner isn’t necessarily life threatening enough to warrant a NHTSA recall, it’s just shitty

He means to say the car didn’t qualify. This happened to me - a few cars ago I bought a 2007 Mazdaspeed3 with 62k-ish miles. Mazda extended the timing chain issue past the warranty date by 15k miles or something, but I happened to be 2k past that date. I ended up paying a Mazda dealer to fix it - was only $1,500 IIRC

You don’t even have to ‘win’ the popularity contest. You just have to win some arbitrary assignment of points based upon geography and an outdated census.

My friends spent the last two years planning an out-of-state wedding for the middle of May, 2020. COVID came. They pushed it to August, then finally gave up and canceled the whole thing. They’re out thousands of dollars and will now have the ultimate pleasure of attending all their friends’ future weddings without

Hot take: If you can’t afford the already ‘bargain’ SE, you can’t afford an Apple Watch (and you definitely don’t need one).

Okay easy there, Driven doesn’t even come close to whatever the hell Torque and Biker Boyz was.

Now playing

2001's Driven Starring Sylvester Stallone and Burt Reynolds (and Ronnie from Remember the Titans). I had this on VHS, I must have watched it a hundred times. Everything about it is good - the rookie hot-shot can’t beat the proven Euro champion, so they recruit the token shattered-past veteran to show him the ropes.

Lynk & Co: Hold my beer

Rivian doesn’t even have to sue... Tesla never won their lawsuit, they settled. Rivian can just copy the gameplan.

Brad, I think you need a hug
