Yeah fuck it let’s just do nothing and see if it changes anything.

While Musk’s pet projects leave much to be desired and are often way too ambitious, you have to admire the fact that he’s willing to put money and time into trying to innovate and come up with new transportation methods.

I can’t wait until someone bro-dozers their Sierra and then I get to watch them drop their fancy tailgate and use the cane rail to climb into the back.

Jalopnik hasn’t gotten over the impending doom of manual transmissions, it’ll take at least another decade before we can begin discussions about accepting CVTs.

Trying to sell a car with a high resale value would actually hurt you, unless you’re holding that car for 5-7 years. For example, if it’s only lost 15% of its value over two years on a $30k car, that’s only a $4,500 discount. At that price point, I’d take the new car every time.

Anybody using a KBB price hasn’t done enough research. Do you buy or list a house based on Zillow’s Zestimate? No? Then don’t sell your car using the same algorithm. It’s a decent enough starting price but it’s not an accurate comp.

It’s doubtful they’re using actual hot mix asphalt to repair these holes, which means they’re probably using cold patch. That’ll last a few weeks with traffic.

It’s $3,750 and amounts to about $60/mo. They’re also marking up the MF, because $3,750 off should drop your monthly payment by more than $100/mo. $450/mo with $3k down and another nearly $4k discount (essentially $7k down) on a $40k car isn’t a great deal, either (you’re also going to owe them another $1,200 for

They do, which is why Ferrari says ‘Mission Winnow’ instead of ‘Philip Morris.’ McLaren is also sponsored by British American Tobacco (‘A Better Tomorrow’). Tobacco sponsorship is fine as long as the advertisements on the cars don’t ‘promote smoking.’

Calm your tits. I meant the manual in the Giulia (the V6 you proposed) is available in a manual in Europe. And sorry I rounded 2.9 up to 3.0, God save me.

Six speed manual is available in Europe. I’d actually be curious to see what kind of power the 3.0 V-6 would put down without turbos (and if that would be more than then 2.0 turbo four).

I, for one, can’t wait until Jeep bros and truck bros combine to create one mega bro so they can drive to the mall and carry all their stuff home.

Agreed. Everybody fighting over 40 miles of range is just being nitpicky. How often do you drive 240 miles in a stretch? And how many people spend $75k on a new car, but only have one car where they would be forced to take that on every road trip? Anybody who can afford a Model X has a 5 series or two sitting in their

I can see how range would hinder people wanting an EV SUV, because an SUV is your family road trip car (load the kids, dogs, go skiing, whatever). But range limits for EV sedans is a cop out, in my opinion. Any family dropping $40k+ for an EV has a second car they can use in a pinch.

Budgets aren’t the issue.

There’s actually a very common phenomenon where people’s minds wander while they’re driving and they go into a sort of ‘autopilot.’ Have you ever pulled up in front of your house and can’t exactly recall the last few minutes of driving, or how you got there? When you spend enough time driving, it becomes so

They ran out of Jeep Gladiator articles, had to revert back to stoking Bronco flames.

Ford designers come up with an idea and rush it to the patent office so they don’t get beaten to market by someone else. Then they send it to the engineers, who laugh and say it’s not possible. Idea gets scrapped, designers start the process over again.

It’s easy to say that now, 7 years after Facebook went IPO. If their IPO was so solid, why didn’t you buy a thousand shares? When Facebook went public, nobody knew how they were going to make money. They basically invented their revenue stream; I’m not saying Lyft will do the same thing, but they can’t be ruled out.
