My guess is that the ambient air temp is simply too hot to run an air-cooled engine

I don’t have them (yet), I was exploring possibilities for my Stelvio but I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Everybody on the forums loves them - better fit than WT, better material, nicer looking, etc. Only downside is price.

Plus, the descriptions keep you entertained for hours:

The 2014 Tesla Model S 85 was purchased in January 2018 for $61,478.50

You can find those mats all over e-Bay by straight from China retailers and they’re ridiculously cheap. Lots of people swear by them. Counterpoint, though - they’re fugly.

Weather Tech has lost their touch. The new king of floor mats is Canadian and goes by the name TuxMat

I must be missing something. How does ABS help keep your intended line around a corner? You’re not braking, ABS shouldn’t come into play. Do you mean traction control?

This. No matter how fun a bike is, it’s not worth dying. Bikes still make up more than 10% of vehicle fatalities, despite them only accounting for about 5% of vehicles on the road. I don’t care how great of a rider you are or how much protection you wear, you’ll never beat a distracted driver in a 2-ton car traveling

I don’t understand why the principal argument is ‘You never need AWD.’ What’s wrong with having power to 4 wheels? Why do the Aventador, 918 and Veyron have AWD? It probably doesn’t have to do with snow.

Modern AWD systems (like the SH-AWD in Acura’s) that use torque vectoring will help you around a corner if you lose traction..

He must have been recently banished, RN hasn’t always been in the gray’s.

Millions of people don’t have access to the requisite DMV database(s) necessary to run a license plate and get a name and/or address. It’s also illegal.

You can get an AWD Tahoe LS for $50k. Granted, that’s base level, but the Tahoe is a significantly more luxurious car, and you’re going to be able to find them with significant markdowns. You can also get a more respectable and better looking loaded 4Runner for $45k.

Yeah. $50k is a ridiculous amount of money for a Honda Pilot, especially since the top trim Elite won’t be regularly dealer stocked and you’ll have to special order it. 3-row SUVs are f-ing stupid and priced as such. Suck it up and buy a minivan if you have to, or survive with a 5-seat SUV like the rest of us.

I am having mild nightmares when I imagine trying to buff and wax in those little spaces, however.

IMO that divider is actually nice if you’re taking hard corners. You can press your knee against it and stay centered in the seat. But yeah it does look like a passenger oriented console.

I was kind of hoping our own Congress would say the same thing two years ago

Your average Johnny Bravo is too dumb to operate a manual anyway

Remember, this is the same generation that was eating Tide Pods a few months ago. There’s no hope for our future.
