Was Jon not told about Ned and Rob's deaths? I don't remember.

as is Stannis.

Part of me wished we would have seen Jon Snow tell Sansa about his resurrection but Sophie Turner isn't the best actress so the shock/awe/disbelief she would have emoted might been disappointing.

I thought to myself, the PC police at HBO wouldn't let this misogyny go on without a brutal and violent recompense.

Were the support columns coated in oil as well? The stone/dirt roof?

"Arsonists in the comments, please weigh in."

Awesome episode.

Arya asked the Waif what additional person should she place on her list. Do you think it could be Arya herself (so that she truly becomes no one)?

I thought Emilia Clarke's acting was excellent in her scenes at Vaes Dothrak. You saw the sudden shock and embarrassment when she was suddenly stripped of her clothes. In that moment, her regal bearing and ego went out the window. You could see it in her eyes.

How would they defend against archers (today's snipers)?

It took me awhile but I finally reconciled the two quotes. Overall, good review.

To see a major fan theory verified before our eyes…made the Tower of Joy scene so much better.

LOL

Dany's older brother. I don't have a problem with Dinklage's apparent age as you and it looks like the show is heading in the Tyrion/Targeryan direction. To me. We shall have to agree to wait and see.

The theory suggests that Tyrion's father is Arys II (mad king) since he had a thing for Joanna Lannister. This makes Tyrion Rhaegar's younger brother. Rhaegar's eldest son (Jon Snow) would still be heir. Tyrion is Jon's uncle. I've seen nothing in the books to suggest Tyrion is older than Rhaegar.

Not at all. What family? He is already ostracized. Besides, the White Walker threat trumps everything else. There is enough space in the story for more than Jon. There are three heads on the dragon after all.

Not due to that actually. Sixth Sigma breaks it down well on his YT channel. Tywin's stated uncertainty of Tyrion's lineage, that red priestess who stared down Tyrion, the saddle and other references.

I was a bit underwhelmed by the resurrection scene. Not sure why.

Tyrion is sooooo a Targaryen. The show has hinted at it…this episode was the most blatant nod.

I did not see that coming either
