Given that’s a move taught apparently taught in “Domestic Light Truck Product Planning 101,” you’re completly forgiven for assuming as much.

Bingo. Was interested/ slightly excited for these until seeing the ordering guides. Think I’ll just pursue a Sport S gasser with max tow and a couple other carefully-selected options instead.

Not sure if I’m missing the first half of this conversation or what, but...the Sport trim mentioned here pretty much *is* a base model. Dealer ordering guides floating around JT forums show the EcoDiesel to be available on both Sport and Sport S.

He explained this before; hail storm moved through the area, possibly while out of state; friend/ relative/ some aquaintance put it down as some (slight) means of defense.

neat RAV2, I guess...

Your rights were clearly railroaded.

“ when you block them from passing through you are detaining them.”

By that measure, I should be filing criminal complaints against some freight railroads that run through the area...

Agreed. Vastly underrated design, at least here in America. I’m a tall dude that needs a taller frame, but my hips don’t have the ROM to easily swing a leg over the top tube of most frames deemed to be appropriately sized for me. Mixte FTW.

This makes me feel slightly less crazy for picking up a Peugeot mixte frame for $35.

*slightly*

my guess is they’ll continue to have a column shift on trucks equipped with the front bench mentioned earlier in the story.

Why not just do what many pickup manfacturers do with commerical/ fleet orders and offer a box delete option? Skip the box, earn a $800 credit, etc.

I’d skip right over to AEV or whomever would care to offer a proper traybed in a  heartbeat...

They do, but notice how they’re increasingly being relegated to work truck trim levels. It’s not entirely down to an evil drive to push consumers into larger, pricier cab configurations. If the demand was there to sell an AT4 or Trail Boss reg cab stateside in sufficient number, they’d sell ‘em - just as they do in

...what, no love for the Isetta Jadgwagen?

Launched a decade too late to be viable, and even then it was probably 4-5 years too late.

Funny you mentioned that, those parking garages mentioned *were* essentially GM facilities. I worked for a company that WASN’T GM in a building that IS owned by GM (that probably narrows it down pretty substantially). Garages were used extensively by GM employees located on-site.

Provided you’re not bombing through a

Did so daily with this very truck for five years.

Still don’t see the problem with exercising caution when you walk/ drive in them...

So, uh, my Sierra does this - and I actually like it. At night, it’s a useful supplement to the cargo lights (which I’ve also wired to illuminate whenever the reverse lights are on, as their output is beyond ‘meh’) and helps illuminate the area around the tailgate of the truck while working on things after dusk.

If it

God forbid pedestrians are scared into looking up from their mobile phone for a second and becoming more aware of their surroundings.

In fact, I’d actually like it if unlocking my Sierra did that, 99% of people walking by when I unlock it could not be bothered to notice.

He doesn’t own the property, so that probably isn’t a solution.

A: “Two idiots; one Changli.”

Q: What are the three things that keep me coming back to Jalopnik?

(I say this with all love, of course)
