They should call the movie Super Heroes and then just let you get to the theater before you learn what it is.

They should cast Boyega as someone like White Wolf. That would be pretty bad ass.

You don’t take Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman and make an R rated film. You also don’t make it Superfriends. There’s a happy medium, but you’re right that Snyder does not have the skills to do this.

The Netflix properties are more adult oriented.

if wb wanted a success that was so different than marvel.. they should have built their expanded universe on the foundation of New Frontier.. not the shit we’ve been shoveled.

I am sorry but this is just a gripe...every single outlet reported he was being treated for cancer...my FB feed was filled with people hoping he’d pull through...does nobody know what palliative means? The message you, and everyone else, reported translated to “Was treated for cancer, is now in end of life care”.

Considering they’ve rebooted their line twice in 5 years leads me to believe the upper management at DC Comics are just as clueless about the characters as Snyder and WB.

How will I possibly cope?

I went into Civil War basically indifferent towards the character, and walked out completely blown away by Boseman’s portrayal and anxious for the solo movie to get here ASAP.

In my opinion Civil War the movie is much better than Civil War the comic arc. It benefits from having a more streamlined approach and overall more believable and grounded motivations and actions for all characters.

I think he’s the best villain apart from Loki. He was real, he had real motivation and I actually sympathise with him. I don’t care about comic book accuracy when the product is actually a compelling “villain” He’s more than a foil for the Avengers to assemble, and he’s played wonderfully by Daniel Bruhl. I think he
