hahahaha what is that supposed to mean?

Except that's hardly true when you look at media representation of men and women — how many 'regular' looking men do you see in popular film and shows versus average looking women? Men have been feeling more pressured but this is recent, and is a result of...you guessed it, internalization of patriarchal ideals of

Male actors being ridiculed for their appearance doesn't keep them from working, but getting old or getting old the wrong way (as in not being Meryl Streep or Helen Mirran) sure does. And part of the reason is because those actresses are held up to an incredibly amount of body policing and scrutiny.

I have never noticed any difference in my symptoms based on my diet, but then I read stuff like this all over the internet! Do you have any resources

Plus, college visits are EXPENSIVE. I could only make it to one because the school paid for me, and the other because I was visiting family nearby. I ended up selecting a college sight unseen.

a-yup.

I would have watched the shit out of that.

1200 calories a day is an amount recommended for women on diets, trying to lose about 1-2 lbs. a week.

Because there is no frame that will make a legislator that wants a woman to carry a dead fetus to term see reason.

If you want to do research, start looking at publication offices (I know in DC CQ Press normally has researcher jobs). This kind of stuff you'll probably have to supplement with waitressing but you know, gotta build up the resume. Check with publishing firms that focus on women's academic work, and see if they need
