Facilitators are meant to deliberately make sure that minorities' and women's voices are prioritized when speaking at the General Assembly, so the conversation isn't dominated by white male voices. If it's a social justice movement that doesn't consider race issues, due in part because of the high numbers of white participants (who may be acting out of ignorance of the nature of the interconnectedness of race and economic injustice), then it becomes an issue of privilege.
