@UnknownLegend: Have you thought of becoming a foster parent?
@UnknownLegend: Have you thought of becoming a foster parent?
@likepenguins: Yessssss. That song really bugs me and you just pinned down exactly why.
I was totes at that game! He was really casual about the whole thing and wouldn't let them acknowledge him in any special way (ie, ruffles & flourishes or Hail to the Chief).
Man, it's interesting to put a name on why I got dumped on Monday and why he won't try to hold out til the end of the semester when we're both not going through mental illness/graduate degree hell so we can talk out our feelings like real people. I'm still unsure of what to do with his Christmas presents though.
@Deathbypapers: Oh jeez, I just had a similar situation, though not long distance, but it blows. Big hugs if you want 'em.
@LadyBossyBoots: I love Van Meeter!
Those oil paintings of the Obamas are the only non-professional athlete black people in the entire Sky Mall. Last weekend on a flight my boyfriend and I counted two whole minorities, and this includes all disembodied body parts (people only want white hands modeling their unbreakable wine glasses). So weird.
@Pogue Mahone: I lol'd. #femen
@FaceMonkey: Who knew that would ever happen? #girlsnextdoorsmores
@CashMoneyHoney: Agreed but I really couldn't be happier. #lilithfair
@futuremouse: It's also a Moby song that features MC Lyte. #lilithfair
My eleven-year-old self just died. The Lilith Fair was my first concert ever, since my dad decided I should get some ass-kicking ladies as musical role models. Aaaaah so excited! #lilithfair
@itsonreserve: I follow a couple people that use Twitter to write short stories. It's neat. #margaretatwood
@Mimi Fleck: I thought they looked excited! #hellokitty
@Anycah: That story literally made my jaw drop in utter horror. #reproductiverights
@rd2uk: Each of the kids has their own fund set up, so I'd imagine most of their money goes into those accounts, not the joint parent account. Oh god why do I know that.
Zahara is so fierce! I sort of love the Jolie-Pitt brood — they all seem to be so filled with personality.
@SarahMC: Oh, as for places - the Chi Cha Lounge on U Street is pretty delightful and has good bar food, and Local 16 (also on U St.) has a sweet roof bar.
