Playing this now, its pretty cool and has some nice touches like flipping over tables to create cover. Not sure how viable it is as 1 player game though, seems like I blow through the minion easily only to die after removing only a quarter of the bosses health. Also I don’t think there is any after death progression,

21 days in from release, this does not sound good. How long did it take you to get to the saturation point?

Had to be from an earlier version of the game because I just tried it and it wont budge from its spot.

I love it when that kind of thing happens to me. The most awkward laugh usually happens at that moment.

Thank you for your honesty and opinions. I am not keen on micro transactions, so I will gather some more info before I decide to take the plunge.

I did a fairly extensive video review over on my youtube. I will NOT link to it in here because I’ll get accused of shameless self promotion. Just mentioning it though because folks seem to appreciate the depth I went into with it.

It’s awesome for using Keyboard controls. I find it great in games that allow mouse movements along with gamepad controls (Elder Scrolls Online), however not every game supports that. Would be awesome if they did.

Honestly, coming from regularly using a DS4 and having a PC connected to my bedroom TV through HDMI, I was pleasantly surprised to see how good the controller turned out to browse the web /control my desktop, without mentioning the ability to play games like CivV or XCOM (with a better layout) from my bed.

The popular Steam Early Access dino game Ark: Survival Evolved is coming to Xbox One on December 16th, using the console’s own early access system, that launched earlier this year.

Ummmm... I beat the game when I was younger and had no idea about that fruit thing you mentioned.

Unfortunately you can’t quiiiiite rename everything: you can only rename items that can be modified as a workbench.

Your spot on sigh I just name all my armor as a1 a2 etc so I can find it on top always. Still a pain renaming everything not to mention getting confused when I find left greaves and wonderin if it’s better then the greaves my left and getting the left and right greaves mixed up

Yeah, I named all my gear with the letter Z so I don’t accidentally scrap/sell the wrong stuff.

Yeah, and it’s a dumb time-consuming dull affair only to keep your inventory in order. This shit is done by a single modder and my inventory is actually manageable now that every item is sorted in its own category. Bethesda have no excuse, really. Console players should be pissed.

Why even post a comment if you’re not going to bother reading the article? Like, seriously.

This is why I resisted watching this show for so long. I eventually got used to it for season 2 (or maybe it was toned down, I’m not sure), but I wish it hadn’t been included at all.

They do clip the ground. the bulges on the end of the wings are designed for precisely that purpose. And the landing gear is designed to be as light as possible to cut weight and hence increase altitude and flight duration. The plane was designed to fly at extremely high altitudes and not for easy take offs and

Good explainer here:

Aw. The tone of my post is pretty clearly tongue-in-cheek, and all I’m trying to perpetuate here is discussion of some of the aspects of game design that don’t get discussed as much, such as how we look at upgradeable gear and the idea of using aesthetics as a visual signifier of improved character ability. It’s an
