Let us remember this latest Bowling Green massacre.
Let us remember this latest Bowling Green massacre.
Or we could just stop with this DRL nonsense and then there wouldn’t be any confusion at all. Your lights are either on or they’re off, no more crappy dull lights on in the middle of a sunny day.
Oh, to be a fly on the wall when he has his first mandatory physical at (formerly just) Bethesda Naval Hospital. Poor doctor(s). As someone pointed out, we own his pulse now and have a vested interest in his (lack of) mental health. But don’t expect any involved medical professional to do his-her legal or ethical duty…
He doesn’t look well. He doesn’t sound well. I’m genuinely curious what a full physical and mental health screening would reveal?
“there’s ever been a president elected who in this short period of time has done what we’ve done.”
I was in VF-101 in the eightys and we had a deer hit a Tomcat on its takeoff roll. If I remember correctly the aircraft was just up to rotation speed when the deer slammed into the right main landing gear. I cannot remember if the aircraft aborted or flew around the pattern and landed, but I do remember that there was…
I was hanging out around the perimeter of McGuire AFB (dad was in the army, I was hanging around) I saw a deer hop the fence and run onto the airfield. A few seconds later, all I heard was a rifle.
I used to work at a small general aviation airport that was surrounded by woods and farmland. Deer were a big problem. At least once a week a plane would call over the radio to report deer on the runway. The only way to get them to move was to take the CJ-5 we used as a tug onto the runway and drive straight at them…
A few but more importantly small trucks would be cheaper. There is a reason all the subcompact cars are built in Mexico. If automakers could do the same with trucks you’d see more small cheap trucks, they just can’t make money on those now.
I’ve had this argument many times. My dad had a 1998 Ranger, rear wheel drive, four cylinder, five speed. He consistently got better than 25 mpg with it. It was great, because he realized that his needs were for relatively low weight, occasionally high volume, often awkwardly shaped cargo that would only be moved once…
Chicken tax
You’re an idiot.
That is dark as black paint, but in all fairness, would be easier to explain a new fancy car than trying to explain why your child came back from the dead.
Only you’re missing the point or perhaps the world “global.” Mexico is holding meetings this week and there’s foreign and even some US owned car companies who are thinking “20% tax to send the cars north? Fine, we’ll send them overseas.” And those countries overseas are going “cool!” That’s just cars, there’s also…
You have no idea what you’re talking about. Having a trade deficit is not “financially supporting a country.” And “having a spine” has nothing to do with the trade deficit- the biggest culprit is oil. We basically eliminated protectionist bullshit 70 years ago. Reagan was one of the biggest supporters of free trade…
This. One thing that people don’t seem to understand is that the U.S. dollar is the de facto world currency and to maintain that, we need to maintain our position as the most desirable trading partner in the world. If we lose this, say, because Trump pisses off every major trading partner in the world, we are fucked.
Instead of inflammatory language, can you point to some verifiable facts to back up your statements? We have a trade deficit with Mexico, that’s a fact. $58 billion as of 2015.
Is paying more for literally everything a win?
Free trade is good for the goose and the gander. Strong economies help developing countries’ economies while lowering consumer prices. Free trade benefits all. Isolation policies like tariffs can work in the short term for the employing nation, but damage both/all nations’ economies in the long run.
They are using him. The MINUTE Cheeto McStupidHair won’t sign off on one their horrible Randian laws, they will impeach him.
