I must like the 2nd gen Neons since I’ve owned two of them. Both were manuals, so I don’t have any experience with the autos.

Most auto parts suppliers will deliver parts for free. Most of their shop’s time is spent cross shopping their suppliers to see who has it and who has it the cheapest. Parts markup is just another revenue stream along with labor charges.
A small truck would be something like the Chevy Tornado, Ram 700, or VW Saveiro. A Ridgeline, Colorado, Tacoma, eta are all mid size trucks (that are still too big). It’s sad that the original Dodge Dakota would likely be considered a small truck nowadays.
And depending on where you live and calorie intake, being a vegan/vegetarian can actually result in more environmental damage and more animals being killed than just being a normal omnivore.
I don’t want a Ridgeline because it’s still too damn big.
A Chevy Tornado has about the same payload and would even be more practical for me. Unfortunately, it’s not sold in the US because of the stupid “Chicken Tax”.
