white painted rollbars ($630) complete the look

Disagree. Any small block GM with over 300 horsepower will not only be more reliable, but also have better parts availability. My buddy had a 750i with an M70. It was a total pain in the ass.

Hahah I’m FOR SURE doing it budget permitting. My guess is my trade in plus financing will be a few grand off the asking price. We will see. I just want tavarish’s input. :)

Be careful...

Justin, I’ve enjoyed cocaine many times. It helped get me through college and the early LA years. But it was always recreational use and not habit-forming, so while it’s been good for me, I know others may not agree. Black Ferrari rules. Red’s fine too. White’s too Miami Vice.

Hmmm, I appreciate the Miata very much, but accusing other cars of being underpowered while talking about a Miata is weird.

You could invest some of that $87,000 in counseling on how to be less sanctimonious.

About the cost of the blown tq converter in my F450. I didn’t realize owning a Ferrari was cheaper than owning a Ford Power Stroke.

Dude, pop a Xanax.

I agree that there shouldn’t be an emotional, knee-jerk response, but at the same time, it seems that the primary cause of debilitating injury or death lately has been due to severe head trauma from colliding with external objects (fixed or flying). This seems like an area where a substantial improvement in safety

Sounds like the point where people think everything is preventable and try to make policy based on emotion.

I would buy games from these people.

Indy cars used to do quite a few road courses, before the Haas family took it over. You ended up with more crashes - turn 3, Laguna Seca, usually first lap but guaranteed in the first ten laps — but they were at one third the speed. As a fan, I’d much rather watch road courses or streets courses. Fans will follow with

It’s all part of the risk, and honestly, the spectacle of motorsports. All the participants are aware of the risks, no one is forcing them to participate.
