That’s the secondary air valve. It’s supposedly heated by a a current but in practice heatsoak usually closes it when the bimetallic spring warms. It was always strange to me that functionally there is no difference if the wires are plugged in or not. The bypass air from this valve feeds back into the manifold into a

If it’s supposed to be a prequel somebody done fucked up, because there is a mission that couldn’t possibly have happened before the movie. I don’t want to get all spoilery but I got the impression a main character was a survivor from the movie or the next generation.

Hell yeah! Congrats!

Well my first thought was “look at these Fucking hipsters”, but then I followed the link and it turns out people are Fucking horrible. Myself included. In my defense Amish people live exactly the same, and it had a bit of the “look at me” feel to it.

Pretty sure this is just a replacement for the qx whatever that the last z was based on. It’s for the guy or girl that dreams of an x5 or wants the performance but doesn’t really care about trim levels. If you like sporty cars, but have kids, or dogs, or need some utility, this is a no brainer. I know it seems weird

Really? Catering to the fastest growing class of auto’s is their doom? Z cars aren’t exactly keeping the lights on.

In short order these shitboxes are 30% of the market. As an enthusiast it’s dumb, but for Nissan why the hell would they pass on money sitting on the table waiting to be snatched? Every dude I know that had kids and used to be an enthusiast is in the market for a cuv with some balls they can justify to their wife, and

I’ve always wondered how long you could get away with driving something like this if you stuck to the speed limits/laws otherwise. I also wonder how long I’ll be able to avoid jail time if I ever get stupid rich, because I wouldn’t think twice about trying. In my mind they would be so awestruck and confused they

Tell that to Bentley.

Well your simplifying that defense to the point of absurdity, and I never specifically talked about this case, I was addressing your comment that was misleading enough I thought it should be clarified.

That’s not really clear or helpfull in the case of a dui, once you are aware you are intoxicated you are still breaking the law. It may be harder to prove, but what you are asserting is that somone could get slipped a pill, realise they are intoxicated and drive home free and clear using this defense where they to be

Not in Texas and not in most states. It’s only a defense as mens rea which most dui statutes explicitly exclude (even though they don’t really have to)

I’m not going to cite the entire law, but it couldn’t be more clear.

I’m not familiar with that case but the key there is the jury. The law absolutely does not make a distinction between voluntary and involuntary intoxication. I mean a judge could decide that strictly adhereing to the law isn’t in the public’s or defendants best interest, but that doesn’t suddenly make it legal. An

Driving can’t be done involuntarily, the charge of driving while intoxicated doesn’t require intent for you to be in that state, it requires intent to operate a vehicle in that state. Plenty of people get dui’s for drug interactions and even unexpected results of over the counter medications, and it does stick.

That O-V1 D too.

That’s legal.

I just wrap the edges in tape so the edges aren’t sharp and shove it between the dash and front window. The law in Texas is visible from the front, and on the front half of the car. ( I guess they don’t want you mounting it on a pole in the back facing forward?) I’m sure most states are the same.

Well now I don’t feel bad about you getting harassed over your plates twice in one night lol.
