Not sure I’d go too far on this one, but there used to be a show “Tradin’ Paint” and one episode had Jeff Gordon in Juan Pablo Montoya’s BMW at the F1 circuit at Indy. Once he got comfortable in the car he laid down a couple of hot laps and IIRC, he did post a time that would have been competitive for the F1 field…

Often wind farms are in obscure plates like the top of mountain, in a tight valley, etc and you would still need to transport by ground vehicle between an airport large enough to fit them inside (assuming one exists) and the destination.

Agreed. My R1150GSA is bulletproof and I bought it instead of a KTM 950 ADV for the reliability but when it came time to buy a new ADV bike, I bought a KTM 1290 SA instead of an R1250 GSA. Hard to believe that KTM is now simpler and more reliable than BMW...

I have a customer in India and we just messaged back and forth and he was joking that the US is literally turning into a third world country.  He can’t believe what he is seeing.  Man, New Zealand looks pretty attractive about now.

I secretly like these giant touring bikes. I have never ridden a real motorcycle, i’m generally not interested in them but for some reason the idea of riding across the country on a Honda Gold Wing holds a lot of appeal for me.
