How is it I’ve never heard of or ever seen one of these beautiful beasts?
How is it I’ve never heard of or ever seen one of these beautiful beasts?
Wait, what? I still don’t see no stinkin scroll button.
Same with spacesuit helmets in movies TV shows. They’re always line the helmets with lights *inside* facing the wearer. Try walking out into the dark with a flashlight pointed at your face and see how well you can see in the dark? Yeah... yeah... I know, it’s theatrical, so you can see the actors, but seriously.
First gen. e32? The passenger’s side plugs weren’t too bad, but the driver’s side were a bitch. And the last one? Next to the fire wall? Fuggetaboutit! They definitely weren’t thinking about tune ups when they dropped that massive v12 into that chassis.
Dafuq?
I actually do something similar when riding my motorcycle into tunnels on sunny days; it really helps.
I had to do a tune up on a 750iL once... I’ll never do that again. The plugs at the back that are a *real* bitch.
Not so much a “mechanic’s” story, and not video worthy, but it does involve working in the industry, mechanics, and a call from the FBI... So I’ll just post it here...
That robotic dragonfly at the beginning of the video reminds me of the 1970s tween book: Danny Dunn, Invisible Boy. It was about a boy who was friends with a inventor; not unlike Doc and Marty in Back to the Future. The inventor creates a robotic dragonfly, complete with miniature video camera and microphone, which…
Red light has been used for ages in dark situations; such as at night on board ships, sailboats, aircraft, look out towers, etc. It’s because the human eye does not react to red light like it does other light. As you know, at night, if you walk from a well lit room into a dark room, it will take several minutes for…
I’m sorry, I missed the part where the black woman pulled a gun, or any weapon, can you please point me to the time code in the video where that happened? And from the video, it sure sounds as if the whole thing began when the white woman bumped into the 15 year old black girl and didn’t bother to say “excuse me” or…
I’m *so* sick of BMW. As a former fan who bought their first of many BMWs almost 30 years ago, and at one time honestly believed all I would ever own is BMWs, they just keep finding new lows. How disappointing.
I’m so sick of these stupid f***ing white people... and *I’m* white! ...I can hardly begin to imagine how non-whites must feel about dealing with this shit *all the time*. Thank GOD someone is finally holding [a few of] them accountable. ...I suppose it’s a start; but we’ve got a LOOOONG way to go.
I used to watch Raising Hope when it was on late night TV. Great series with an amazing cast. Cloris Leachman always stole the show.
Don’t know if anyone has beat me to it, but, that’s blaspheme! That, sir, is no 993, it’s a 996! ...Or possibly a Boxster; it’s impossible to tell from the front end. The fried egg is a dead giveaway.
I miss The Good Place. I’ve already rewatched the entire series twice now.
I liked her in The Mandalorian; I thought she made a good sidekick for Mando. Besides, she’s beautiful, seems really down to earth, and *literally* kicks ass; what’s not to like?
“We have seen that this wire can be subject to wear and tear under special conditions,” reducing the seat belt’s protection, he said, adding “this is a very rare problem.”
Yeah... And what happens to their soul? Once you teleport, you become soulless? Would your dog try to bite you because you have no soul and they don’t recognize you anymore? Would automatic doors stop opening for you? Would you have no reflection in mirrors? OMG, the teleporter is a vampire making machine!
Like you, I was 9 in 77 and saw it in the theater, and countless times since. And I too knew of the deleted Biggs scene. I’ve even watched the deleted scenes a number of times, but I never made the connection that Luke wanted to join the *Empire* until today, watching this video. I’d always assumed he meant the…
