Try Googling “French Revolution”

I can tell you what their demographic isn’t; someone who prefers a POS busted old rusty Jeep, that’s apt to give you tetanus, to one of their shiny new cars.

Clearly you are not their demographic.

You know... You’re absolutely correct... I’d completely forgotten about that what with no racing and all. I was thinking more along the lines of AM Renault/Honda. So... Please disregard me previous statement.

Considering Lawrence Stroll recently decided to start/take over his own AM F1 team, bringing in someone from MBZ sure sounds like a step toward MBZ power plants for his son’s go-karts.

Unless you live in some third world country where you get your fuel from dusty old drums and the nearest shop is... No... Not even then... At that price this is CP all day long. [drop $2k and maybe we can talk.... Maaaaybe.] Old diesels were noising and smelly and you could have a much newer and nicer and less smelly

In IMSA, the RS Cosworth Sierra was run as a Mercury Merkur XR4Ti.

In 2019 MBZ spent $485m, Ferrari spent $463m and RBR spent $445m.

Turns out winning in F1 is actually hard. Though thanks to Toyota’s half a billion dollar experiment, I got to witness first hand, a V10 F1 car lap Laguna Seca. That was pretty spectacular.

Nuclear power has a tendency to create a lot of highly toxic waste, and not just the spent uranium. If you really want to know more, check out this article on America’s only nuclear powered merchant ship:

This is the best news I’ve heard out of F1 in a long time. I assume the previously agreed upon 2021 [now 2022] changes still apply as well?

I’d pretty much accepted there won’t be a 2020 F1 season a while ago. Seems a little silly at this point to keep dragging it out with announcements each week about yet another canceled race

Thanks for the clarification; I didn’t catch that until a little while after I’d posted; I figured an astute Jolpian would catch it ...Though you have to admit, it does have some TVR DNA going on, so I’m claiming honest mistake... ;]

No I haven’t, I’ll most definitely check it out. I’ve binged For the Love of Cars and I’m just starting season 2, Soup is next in the cue.

I’m seriously bummed they’re almost done. I just can’t get into the old library mobile and I don’t think the TVR is going to be as fun, what without all the impromptu brackets and whatnot.

I would call myself an average mayo user. I don’t really go overboard, and it never occurred to me to use it for grilled cheese in place of butter. [I think I’ll take a pass on that one] But there’s an Italian restaurant in my town that makes the absolutely BEST garlic bread I’ve ever had. It’s incredibly creamy, and

So now the long coveted Porsche Turbo moniker is meaningless. =/

...On a side note, I’m just pulling this out of my arse so take it for what it’s worth, but... I know there have been ample problems [pun intended] with perfecting electromagnetic catapults for modern aircraft carriers, so what about using EV style tech instead? i.e. rather than make the entire catapult

Very cool... As an equal opportunity gearhead I’m all for EV tech, but if I’m completely honest, that was incredibly anticlimactic. Without the chest thumping noise and the flames, it’s like watching late night TV talk show monologues during the pandemic; without the sound of the audience’s laughter the jokes just

That is a gorgeous car. When I was a little kid, there was a local toy store that had 1/18th scale die cast model Esprit Turbo with little pop up amber rhinestone headlights, I thought it was the coolest thing but way out of my allowance range. =\
