if you don't like it then why not just ignore the article and fuck off to something you do like then?

YES! This is what my experience was like and people on the Bioware Social Network didn't get it. The entire games was my ending, I saw storylines conclude and characters I cared for either live or die.

Valve make good games, but they're nothing spectacular. I mean I've played the Half-Life series, TF2 and L4D are they were all solid games but that was it. I mean I didn't see anything special which put them apart from any other games on the market.

I tend to take all reviews with a pinch of salt, professional or consumer, I can form my own opinions on something before I buy it and I'm rarely wrong with getting the kind of games that I like because I can't be wrong, I don't have the money to get it wrong.

This article just gets more pretentious towards the end. I don't like to read articles where I'm getting the feeling that the writer is calling me a wanker for enjoying games that he finds "dumb" whereas saying games like Braid are the fucking Godsend of gaming, when they aren't.

The Modern Warfare games kinda lost interest for me, I didn't bother to rent the new one as I just couldn't be bothered and didn't care for the story anymore.

This is generally why I hate being called a gamer, because whiny little fucks like this give everyone that bad image in the media's eye. Seriously, this is why I didn't support ReTakeME3, not because I personally disagreed with their assessment of the ending but because stupid fucks in the movement threatened and

Now playing

Been listening to some slower metal songs as they tend to be the ones which I like the most and wondering if anyone had some suggestions for good songs like this.

Go Bruce go you crazed motherfucker.

Which was surprisingly solid, not great but a fun time-waster

Boo hoo? I prefer the RPG in the vain of Mass Effect, Fallout 3 and Dragon Age 2, what do you want me to say, sorry?

An actual game that I bought then I'd say Aliens vs Predator for the 360, I mean I love those franchises but that game sucked something awful, I got halfway through the Alien campaign, tried the human and Predator and just gave up, I've never felt so cheated out of £10 before.

Indeed I mean that is what really put me off DA:O, it was the combat which looked really dated and I knew I wouldn't enjoy it. That will be the only thing which will make me not buy DA3, if they change the combat back to that style then I won't bother.

I'll start off from the off by saying I never played DA:O, I won't lie when I say that it never applied to me and look like the kind of game which wouldn't grab my attention for long.

I really liked Medal of Honor, it didn't feel like Battlefield or Call of Duty, it felt more...human if you know what I mean, it wasn't like you were one man taking on the world, you were part of a team which was part of a war, you were doing what you could.

Indeed, most of the new ones looked really bad when I first saw them, it was like they'd ran out of animals to draw inspiration from and instead used things they found around the office

I must be getting older as I just don't have the energy to even remotely try and follow these anymore. It's a shame as well because Yellow was my first proper handheld game and I loved the crap out of that but after Ruby and Sapphire, I just kinda gave up and nothing I've seen is going to entice me back.

Amen, the BSN has come a shitefest of whining and bitching and it's fucking annoying. You can't have ANY discussion about the game on their before some snide twat comes in and derails it to be about the ending.

I don't think anyone feels bad for Mario fans, Braid doesn't hold anything to Mario games and I'm not the biggest Mario fan.

I don't see the problem with a popcorn franchise in the grand scheme of things. Sure they're not exactly inventive but they do their job well and they're fun to play.
