So, we’re getting Hooker Catwoman?

Not exactly Miller’s best writing.

That is one of the problems, people weren’t free to leave. You could come to Rapture, but you couldn’t just leave when you chose to do so. This is another way in which Rapture wasn’t capitalist.

You’re confusing pay with value. Value is subjective entirely. I think Perez’s artwork is great. I would even pay for it. Others think it is worthless, valueless trash and wouldn’t pay a penny for it. Value is inherently subjective and individualistic.

This is separate entirely from what you think he should be paid.

>what he was worth

Met him at a con. He was super friendly ad outgoing.

Yes, TPTB are the ones forcing you to not get vaccinated, forcing you not to wear a mask, and forcing you to not to listen to the endless amounts of media telling you to do both. /s

The real problem with Bioshock though is that from the very start, nobody in Rapture is a capitalist.

For all his rhetoric, the first thing Ryan does is enforce draconian trade embargoes that cut Rapture off from all trade with the surface. Then he has a centralized government that has the power to nationalize

The Dark Knight movie was based on The Long Halloween, too, which Reeves references here. It is the whole basis of the Dent storyline.

> that will make this a total farce

52 was a result of Infinite Crisis, not Identity Crisis.

I think that is what makes them so perfect. They’re a reminder that in a world which is basically Firefly that the children don’t take after their parents. They’re the church goth kids.

Pretty good read for a ST book, too. Even manages to tie in the Romulans and Borg.

OTOH, this is Bricken. And he is notorious for his terrible taste.

I have to disagree with you. As another poster on here put it, Luke “was concerned that Grogu didn’t have his heart in his training. And since Grogu had basically been forced into the temple as a young child (as most Jedi were, never really given a choice) here is Luke offering Grogu a choice to remain on his current

>Plus, if Grogu leaves Luke, that doesn’t necessarily mean he can’t ever be a Jedi, or at least some kind of more powerful Force user. We know others like him are out there. Maybe he could even meet Rey after the defeat of Palpatine.

There is a guy with a pig’s head whose name is literally Pig Head. At least George Lucas had enough creativity to do better than that with the Gamorreans

Pretty much that scene in Iron Man II where Justin Hammer’s attempts at building Iron Man armor lead to people snapping their own spines.

He kind of is, even his character development really isn’t that deep. At least in the video games. The books are a bit better about exploring his inner world more.

I saw Batman ‘89 in theaters in 2019.

Just makes me want an actual version of The Navidson Record.
