I’ve never understood the dislike for 2 by some. I love it. And honestly, with all the religious elements in 2 it mirrors the story of Infinite better than 1 does. And I always enjoyed how 2 was a political counterpoint to one, showing the pitfalls of and commenting on the problems of a literally Nanny State.
Now read the Wax and Wayne books! They’re my favourite so far.
Why would Nintendo go out of its way to defend an employee who got knee deep in internet filth on her own time? The company isn’t her mommy or daddy to protect her from the schoolyard bullies. Her own issues are her own business, until it starts to directly effect the company anyway. And to that end, I am not…
I actually think the current problems with the justice system makes the Punisher an even more darkly appealing character. He is above corruption. The mob boss, corrupt cop, politically connected dealer, they all have something to fear from him, no one escapes.
Maybe giving constructive criticism isn’t the same thing as being a prick and being the internet doesn’t justify acting like a socially maladjusted baboon showing your enlarged red anus to everyone you can. Don’t make excuses for these kind of people, they don’t deserve it. And it just makes you look bad when you do,…
I just can’t get past Quietly’s artwork. I hate it so much it ruins the experience.
The saddest thing is I can’t tell if this is a joke or if you’re serious.
“Mutants have always been presented as being part of humanity, not a seperate offshoot like the inhumans.”
Your description explains very well why I would rather have had Luke Cage as the new Captain America over Falcon. In a lot of ways Luke and Steve are the same, the difference is how their race affected their life experiences. And that I think would’ve been really interesting to explore.
Of course they did. Then companies realized there was more money to be made by marketing more specifically to what children wanted more. That doesn’t suggest it is a toy company’s fault that it is that way, merely that they recognize it is that way.
No more than you can just quit the NSA and go to work for the CIA. Might be possible, doubt its easy.
East of West by Hickman.
Exactly how is this supposed to change how I see SHIELD? Honestly this is nicer than what I imagine they would do since they’re basically the CIA without any restrictions.
You’re thinking Infinite Crisis, not Identity Crisis.
I like it myself. Hickman has written essentially a love story to the character spread over multiple series from FF to Secret War. The new opportunity to be something and someone greater than he was is something I hope becomes permanent. I want to see what this new Doom, a redeemed Doom, will do.
Its the company’s fault that people like gendered toys enough to make gender specific toylines extremely profitable? I’m sorry, that doesn’t make sense. Companies like this just follow where the bottom line leads, if you have a problem with that you need take it up with society.
I would absolutely burst out laughing in the face of anyone I saw who looked like that. Tattooed man-children aren’t scary, they’re stupid and draw mocking for their extremely poor life decisions. Decisions like getting “Damaged” tattooed on any part of their body, especially visible parts. It is so idioticly emo they…
But not unintelligible.
