The restaurant says they were closed, but the women say the restaurant was open because people were still dining. Anyone who’s worked service knows a closed restaurant often has people in it well beyond the official closing time, and while the public may still be inside, no one new gets to come in.

I literally didn’t know until this article that the Solara came in non-convertible form. I thought Solara = Convertible Camry Coupe. I’ve only ever seen, or at least only ever noticed, the convertible version.

The problem is disproportionate coverage that creates the incorrect impression that semi-autonomous vehicles—and in particular Teslas—are inherently dangerous in and of themselves.

Think about this woman’s logic for a minute:

I loved when the cop told her, “He’s in control” when referring to Hayes. Just made my day how it lit up his eyes as he heard that. I felt both good and bad for him in that moment. Empathy is a strange thing.

The cops SHOULD start arresting people for making these calls. It’s racism, it’s harassment, and it wastes the time of the cops. (That’s our tax dollars being wasted.) I know there are laws against frivolous use of emergency services....why aren’t they enforced?

So a young black businessman is actively working on building his business and being an entrepeneur and this lady calls the cops. She is more than likely the same type of person posting on Facebook about Obamaphones and welfare queens.

I get such a weird feeling when I see video of police doing the right thing.

It’s awful that once again we have the cops being called over some bullshit, but it’s heartening to see the cops—cops in the South, no less—actually taking the side of the person they’re supposed to take the side of, not to mention shutting down the asshole who wasted everyone’s time. Well handled.

Omg, this, fucking this is what is needed from cops, people minding their own business and shutting the fuck up. I am glad they told that fucking lady what is what, people are tired of that shit and need to make them shut ins so they never come out of their caves again.
