I’ve never worked in a restaurant, but the main thing I’ve picked up from the many cooking shows I’ve watched is the concept of mise en place. Whenever I’m cooking a decent sized meal, I think for 5 minutes about all the pans i need, mixing bowls, knives, preheat oven, etc. Then peel/prep the veg and the aromatics

You used a phrase that i don’t quite understand. “Leftover skin”. What is that? Those 2 words don’t really go together.

I’m old enough to remember when Andrew and Fergie were the cool royals. She flew helicopters!

Wouldn’t a more accurate title for this article be:

The problem is that rational science based people know you can’t make categorical statements like “never”. A doctor will rarely say that it’s “impossible” that a given med caused a given side effect. We use terms like “unlikely”, “no statistical evidence” “not biologically plausible”. The conservatives then jump in

came out here to say this. I can’t think of another child actor that so nailed their adult counterpart.
It was pretty remarkable

I have reluctantly come to the realization that I will never taste another BK veal parm sandwich. I’ve been to 3 star Michelin restaurants, but nothing tasted as good as a BK Veal parm at midnight after a full night of teenage drinking. . It was the ultimate food. I literally would give 50 bucks to have one right now

YES!

I would live with the cholesterol and fat. The problem is, I don’t think it would taste as good. The protein of the egg white is what gives the omelette structure.

again, my culinary detective work is increasing the odds of this theory. How would you see egg white mixed into an egg yolk omelette? On the other hand, with an egg white omelette, it would be relatively easy to see the yellow mixed in.

I wonder if it was a reporting error and it was an egg white omelette. The more I think about it, the more sense that makes. But who the hell knows

Egg yolk omelet?

not to be picky (well I guess it is) but wasn’t the attempted assassination by blade of Bran the second episode of GOT?
The first ends with Bran being thrown out the window of the tower by Ser Jaime, no?

I think when the conservatorship first started it was pretty clear she needed major help. It seems more or less completely clear she was at imminent risk to her physical health. However I agree, it went on a ridiculously long time and the court seemed to make a terrible choice in the guardian.

I think Kanye should have had his keys taken away from him years ago. I don’t think Britney needs a conservatorship now, but I think it’s likely she needed some kind of outside intervention when this whole terrible deal started.

congrats on getting the help. It can be a very slow hard struggle. And as you note, if there’s no insight into the problem, it’s basically impossible for it to improve

exactly why the previous conservatorship screwed her so badly. She rightly has distrust of anyone trying to help her.

Maybe unpopular, but 2 things can be true:

Children’s of Boston is arguably the best children’s hospital in the world (certainly in the top 5).

On the “I want it fresh slide”, you say; “But it’ll be made with spite, not love.”
