That would make a ton of road noise, and make it difficult to reverse with the steering wheel turned all the way to one side forcing one pair of rear tires to skid. Also it would increase the tendency of a  FWD car to understeer. It’s probably a hassle to parallel park and to turn around tight corners.

LED instrument cluster lighting can be hit or miss when the cluster was designed for incandescent bulbs.

If I try to import one, how long would it take for US customs to seize it and send it to the crusher? Is it forbidden at Skyline GTR R34 levels? But seriously, if I really wanted one I would look for a used Samurai on Craigslist.

I have helped a neighbor change a flat tire in their driveway before, but I wouldn’t stop on the shoulder at the side of the highway to help someone repair their car. This is partly because of the ubiquity of cell phones, and partly because of fear of being hit by a car. When I was a child growing up in Northern

A 21 year old recently died playing hide and seek in another building elsewhere in the former plant. Apparently he fell down an elevator shaft to his death. There are tons of no trespassing signs on the site, as well as tons of wide open or unlocked doors.

This is actually a legitimate method used to fit a competitive monster truck in an enclosed trailer.

I know nothing of the German Autobahn other than what I’ve seen on old episodes of Top Gear, but the system in Chicago and suburban northeastern Illinois where they set speed limits 15-20 mph below the 85th percentile and speed limits are largely unenforced seems to work.

A temp sensor could have something to do with the active differential, a way to monitor whether it’s overheating and deactivate the wizardry to reduce failures under warranty.

I get it. So, all I have to do is buy a used BMW M235i and stick 218d badges on the trunk lid? Also, doesn’t that make it a “sleeper” as well?

You forgot to mention the 48” eBay LED light bar mounted above the windshield on a typical over-landing Tacoma.

One of these would be a lot more driveable as a restomod with a Cummins 2.8 crate engine swap, a 5-speed, a small lift, and 33” mud tires.

I have an early 4Runner, and half a dozen people have said “That’s a nice Bronco” or “Did you buy that truck from OJ?” or something else involving a Bronco.

I’m not sure exactly where this place is located, but a simple solution would be to use nearby street parking instead of parking on the landlord’s property. Also every apartment I’ve ever rented has had at least one abandoned car in the resident parking lot with 3 flat tires that never seems to get towed until the

A used Tacoma, one for $20,000 or less is going to be at least 5-6 years old, so try to find one that’s from Tennessee or Virginia or anywhere else where they dont use copious amounts of road salt.

I’m actually looking forward to the official launch of the Supra, and the C8 Corvette as well for that matter. Not because I want one or anything. I’ll be glad to see an end of shots of test vehicles seen in camouflage, clickbait hype articles, and coy teaser promos.

Exactly. I’m not at all suspicious of the performance of independent suspensions when so many off-road racing trucks that compete in Pro-4, Baja 1000 and Dakar have them. I don’t get the obsession with solid axles.

This goes to show the amount of engineering that goes into a typical lift kit. It’s not just a matter of bolting some random disparate parts together, trimming for tire clearance, and calling it done.

If I was in charge of GM’s marketing I’d want to rush the reveal of the GMC Sierra HD after the reaction the Chevy got, assuming that the design has been finalized, and it’s less awkward and polarizing.

I can’t believe they don’t have a single ratchet strap securing their precious cargo when ratchet straps only cost like 5 loonies at Canadian Tire.

That perspective layout is the same as RC Pro-AM for the original Nintendo, and granted that game was released a decade later and on a different platform, in the context of racing RC cars, the steering controls sometimes being the opposite of the vehicle’s direction of travel makes more sense. RC Pro-Am was a lot of
