There have been various occasions in the past where there were long periods without new episodes of Top Gear on air, possibly because of scheduling conflicts. I’m reminded of a couple years in a row where their big Christmas special that usually kicks off a new series didn’t air until mid February. I don’t fear that

We all know how frustrating it can be when a package that needs a signature always seems to have delivery attempts when nobody is home, as well as when no signature is required and the courier leaves your cardboard package full of expensive electronics out in the rain. I suppose privacy and security are the main

This is one of my favorite new segments on this blog. Keep it going.

The North American market Jetta is made in Mexico. I'm not sure about the Golf though.

I love the TDI DSG power train in the Jetta. not sure what color I would get though. I would go with manual, but I would get tired of it quickly in stop and go traffic.

its funny how Leno assumed it was a 390 and was obviously disappointed to find out it only had the base model 290 engine. Then later in the video he likens it to the 289 Mustangs in an attempt to be complimentary.

I completely agree. Scotty Kilmer is a hack, and is making a living off of spreading so called money saving “expert advice” misinformation through his monetized YouTube videos. I stopped watching his videos a couple years ago when he made a video titled “why lifting a pickup truck is a dumb idea.” It was a video of a

I’m not worried about the aftermarket parts business and independent shops because that’s a fairly big business which can afford lobbying if they feel their ability to make profits is threatened. Nor do I fear that this will prevent DIYers from doing things like basic maintenance or installing aftermarket air intakes

About 10 years ago at the Chicago Auto Show, Volvo had an XC90 R concept car, which was one of their best looking models at the time. I'm not sure if it ever made it into production though.

Ford GT40, Audi Quattro.

The European model looks better.

This may be an optical illusion but in the first picture the wagon looks twice the size of the boat. The wagon also doesn't appear to have a trailer towing package installed.

You could probably fit universal aftermarket cats on this car to make it emissions legal for several hundred dollars.

If I had a way of getting it to my home in Illinois I’d totally buy this truck. NP

Donzi is the Ferrari of the boat world. Baja also makes nice powerboats.

Ridiculously impractical, with and engine where the back seat should be, compromised legroom in the front, and no firewall between the engine compartment and the seating area? All for the low, low price of more than half a million dollars? Sign me up!

And the check engine light is on, but it probably just needs an O2 sensor

Just to clarify here: Is that $45,000 including the truck, or is that $45,000 for just the kit which they install on an existing truck?

I've always wanted to see a re-creation of the Top Gear Invincible Hilux with one of these.

If you think the starter is hard to get to on a 3.0 V6, the 4.7 V8 they use in the Tundra, Land Cruiser, and 4Runner has the starter motor in the valley of the vee between cylinder banks. The intake has to come off. I think the book quotes it as a 7 hour job.
