Alan Partridge strikes me as the British equivalent to Stephen Colbert (the fictional right wing blow hard not the talk show host)

It’s undoubtedly the best film of the sequel trilogy. Although the competition isn’t incredibly fierce. Especially with episode 9. Was getting this good Star Wars film worth the backlash from it that led to the trilogy going out on a complete wet fart?

I liked both Caesar and Llewelyn. Hail Caesar was a very sharp comedy (George Clooney as a Reagan parody I mean c’mon) and Inside Llewelyn Davis feels like a comprehensive exploration of failure

this. there were some absolutely harrowing sequences in MSG79 and Zeta. The Psycho Gundam in Hong Kong and the sequence where Amuro destroys a military base  and most of all the very opening of MSG79 where the Zakus open fire on Side 7

I grew up with both but Beast Wars (and even more so it’s sequel Beast Machines) tells a genuine, emotional story in a way no other Transformers series does.
