cannot wait to watch this

those late 90s early 2000s disney cartoons were great and most of them have been more or less ignored (with the exception of Tarzan). Lilo and Stitch, The Road To El Dorado, The Emperor's New Groove. So much good stuff right at the end there.

You've ruined the act, Skinner

yeah well the jerk sauce called and they're rubbing outta you!

but the little cleaning robot who yells MO was my favorite part of the movie!

This is a show about a spy agency who lost everything and the one spy who had no choice but to keep them all together

the first Howling is, imho, the best werewolf movie ever. There aren't very many truly great werewolf movies besides it and American Werewolf In London but it's one of my favorite horror movies

ok now you're just being willfully obtuse. If I pulled out a picture of Lovecraft dressed in a white sheet you'd say "he was dressed as a ghost on halloween!"

"The Haunter In The Dark" is amazing. Literally nightmare inducing for the first time I read it.

if Lovecraft was a virgin then he sure knew a lot about horrifying vagina metaphors

His descriptions of African Americans in say, Reanimator, were horrifying. The large man that Herbert West reanimates is more or less described as a monster BEFORE he comes back from the dead. Again, The Horror At Red Hook describes blacks as monsters. The Haunter In The Dark (which may be my favorite story by him)

false, The Rats In The Walls has that cat in it

I think that his views did evolve over his (unfortunately short) life and work. By the time he gets to his later, really excellent work, especially The Shadow Over Innsmouth, it's far more the way you're describing it. His earlier work is much more racist.

I haven't rewatched any madtv in years but teenage Dr Benway found him uproarious

"And we'll chase him, because we have to. Because he can take it."

they brought back Will Sasso but not Michael McDonald? blah. Sasso is fine, his Randy Newman impersonation was a favorite, but Michael McDonald was consistently the best performer on MadTV

there was a review of Tusk just the other day

but isn't the concept of a mallrat pretty much a relic by now? Shopping malls are a dying remnant of the 20th century and even when I was a teenager over a decade ago, teenagers no longer congregated in them

is it Fleetwood Mac week at TheAVclub?

Janeway or bust!
