As someone who caught up with it in the UK a few weeks ago thanks to it being on Netflix, the fact that the new season episodes are going online here the same time as in the US makes whatever deal they struck absolutely worth it. because I'm selfish and only see things through that perspective.

This is a great summary. It's a film all about responsibility and consequences - not only for every reason you've stated but also elements such as opening with a mention of us having destroyed the polar icecaps and Gigalo Joe's "They made us too smart, too quick and too many" quote.

I'm not a fan of most of his post-2000 output but I'll say that Big Fish was fantastic and felt personal. And I'll stick up for Sweeney Todd as well, which was great fun.

Everything Bond does in Goldfinger either gets someone killed or fucks the mission up. Any successes are accidental. It's still the best Bond film.
