Any further aggravation…

It's hard for me to pick but Max and his cynicism have to be my favorite character in this.

Man, it really does. I see a lot of complaining - including in these comments - that Baumbach films only contain narcissistic whiny assholes…but the truth is I was, and I know a lot of other people who were, narcissistic whiny assholes when they graduated college. It's hard not to be at that stage in your life.

It was…arousing…………….it was…violently arousing.

I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. The show does such an amazing job of having me believe that anything is possible.

Yup, part of it is that Elizabeth and Phillip have become so damn good at their jobs.

I can't remember who it was…maybe Lindelof…but they did an interview talking about how jealous they were that The Americans could pull off having Stan live right next to KGB agents and not seem like a complete idiot.

Good call on Much Apu About Nothing. One of the only early Simpsons eps I can think of that takes a firm, concrete stance on a political issue.

I'll make the counterargument for The Big Short - one of the film's central conceits is that a scam this large is only possible because the core theories are so technical and obtuse that "regular" people would rather ignore it. So Adam Mckay dresses up the exposition in a flashy Hollywood shell with Gosling

I hear you. To be clear: I like this show quite a bit. The performances are fantastic, it's probably the best-directed show on TV, it's whip-smart.

I've just watched them all on HistoryChannel's Youtube page, but I think they air late at night as part of a block with some other comedy shorts.

They're all pretty great. I greatly enjoyed Sudeikis-as-Edison's reaction to driving around in a Tesla.

Also, Foggy /just/ nags about Daredevil. He never does anything about Daredevil except bitch and moan about it - constantly. At least Skyler finally went and did something about Walt.

Glad to see season 2 starting off right away with the umpteenth Foggy-Matt conversation that goes:

HEEEEMS!

Whoa whoa whoa, I don't think it's confirmed Stannis is dead in the show?

I think my favorite Hank moment is him locking the car doors as they cross the Arkansas state line, where the sign reads HOME OF BILL CLINTON.

Also from Central Texas, and seconded.

Hank has to be one of the best-realized characters in comedy history. Going back and watching the show, it strikes me how every.single.thing. Hank says or does only confirms his Hank-ness. He never says anything that takes me out of the moment and makes me say, "Huh, Hank would never say that." It's great writing

No mention of Vance's speech to OJ in jail? Give the man an Emmy. Hell, he had me believing in OJ.
