I am sooooo here for Gary Cole’s entire self. That man is a gatdam comedic genius...and a good psycho, too.
Yeah...I’m waiting for Greaves and The Satanic Temple to mount a legal challenge. They usually like to jump head first into the muck and mire.
Perhaps. Thanks for your input.
I don’t follow football but I do follow pop culture. When I read about this kid, I keep getting this sense of Tebow and Manzeil. That specifically, he’ll not be as good as the hype and bother dictated. *Shrug*
Frankie Beverly sings directly to my spirit. ‘Golden Time of The Day’ is baptismal. Everything he does is amazing.
Oh you know they will get their panties in a bunch over this ish. She’s trolling the fuck out of their asses with fab hair to boot. I’ll definitely be voting for her again.
“Would you like a poorly made movie just because it was made and acted by black people? Would you like a good movie but no black person is in it?”
Actually, I liked it because it was a good movie AND because there were black people in it. Our brains are dichotomous...yeah, that.
Plus, with Uncle Joe being ‘nearer to thee’ and all, if that shit were to go down she would inherit the presidency... I could live with that.
He’s perfect! My 8-year-old has had a similar approach to picture taking since he started school. At first, I was upset (those pics can get pricey) but after drilling in his head since 3 that shcool was his ‘job,’ after the 2nd year of questionable photos, he told me one day “Mom, don’t worry about my pictures. I…
I grew up in a household where everyone had a different preference for their grits: mine was sugar, my grandparents salt, pepper (and sometimes Karo), some loved bacon drippings, etc. We just accepted that grits were versatile and we indulged.
I attended the same high school as Mrs. Obama, albeit a decade after she did, and I can say that this is a more than fitting honor. WY has historically been a top school in the city and state...it will be a boastful point of pride for the Dolphins.
I watched this today. This was good (cute), but I wanted closure and I’m left to fill in the blanks. I won’t spoil, but see it and maybe others will agree.
Ha! Yes, she looks pinchable. But she also looks like she’s been here before. Her eyes look ‘old soul-ish.’
She is adorable, but she looks JUST.LIKE.THAT.MAN!!!!! OMG! I’m waiting for some Serena to peek through, but damn, right now she’s his mini-me.
I’m ‘fat lady’ chuckling right now, but I hate you for making my brain work.
No, I don’t. Bill Daley is actually ‘the smart one’ in the family. He’s from around the way but can also be just at home in D.C. If he had maybe made a play before Rahm did, perhaps. But he chose not to, so oh well.
This is going to be a tough one, for real. I really only read the city paper (Sun Times, who endorsed Lightfoot, btw) because I live in the city, but Lightfoot pulled more votes than Preckwinkle, which shocked the shit out of me. I figured she’d run third to Daley’s second and Preckwinkle’s first-place finish. I like…
Great recap, but Toni Preckwinkle isn’t the ‘school board president’ she is president of the Cook County Board - think of her current position as ‘mayor of Cook County,’ so to speak. Outside of the city mayor, she’s already ridiculously powerful since of course, Cook is the largest county in the state.
