Nah, you smell it right where the 705 hits the 5 in Tacoma. Can’t miss it. It’s the pulp mills and the smelter. Every time I drove past that intersection this summer, it hits you like a brick. Not as bad as it used to be though.

Oh my god Bhtooefr, so much this. Tdiclub was always a mine field of racism and weirdos, but there was great info on there, and they kept me running for so long. Now, so much tin foil, contradictions, and screaming at each other and any one else!
No million dollar house, but a 328d instead of a TDI jetta sportwagen.
Dummy, you keep chanting Venezuela like you just heard about it on Fox News. Venezuela is in crisis because their a single resource extraction economy and the bottom dropped out of the oil market. Price limits didn’t destroy the economy.
I like it. First had it on a rental in france, a diesel manual peugeot with start stop. It took a second to get used to it, but it was quite reliable. My 328d has it, I’m always pissed now when it doesn’t shut of the engine at a light because of one of its many variables deciding to keep the engine on. I like not…
Who is the mothafucka rollin’ through the hood, who is the mothafucka up to no good? It’s the Repo man, god damn it’s the repo man...
Golf TDI ALH manual - 2nd to 4th all the time, no problem. Would never do it in a common rail TDI. 6th to 4th on the downhill on the common rail, all the time, keep engine in gear, use exactly 0 fuel. 1st to 3rd, sure if the revs keep up enough, but only on the ALH. 4th to 6th on the common rail.
I think if it happened to be the one sunny morning per year at Newport, that would be the ideal place to see it. As it is, they’re saying it will be an 8 hour drive from Bend to Madras (normally 45 minutes or so), and the hospitals have cancelled all non-emergency surgeries, and even dentists have cancelled their…
Bullshit. Protestors in this country are by and large nonviolent. Clutch your pearls and wait it out.
You’re a fucking dumbass. I’ve seen cars try to run over protestors who were engaged in civil disobedience. It’s an intensely violent act, and if I saw you do that, i would beat the shit out of you and your car, North Carolina or anywhere else.
Hah, I was just looking at those last night. The temptation is great, but the fuel economy is so damned bad...
Came close to buying one last year. Fully loaded under 20k. But in the end, no manual, no diesel, no fun.
I was really into the E91 idea, as a replacement for our TDI wagon. Then I realized that nice examples with 3 pedals were as rare as hens teeth. Then I saw the fuel economy rating. Good god. Ended up compromising on the 3 pedals, hate the new transmission, but enjoy most other aspects of the car, a 328D wagon.
Damn. I was going to say at least it was Lacey, not Oly, but looks like it was just over the hill. Damn. Leave town for 4 days, all hell breaks loose. And in PA too? Calamity seems to follow us around.
While I agree with your assessment of the New Jersey governor who reminds me of the guy Sting was assistant to in the David Lynch version of Dune (Baron Harkonen), I always found diesel to be much cheaper in NJ than PA. Like sometimes 50 cents a gallon cheaper.
Get a diesel. You can pump your own diesel in Oregon. I always pumped my own at the bio station near swan island.
Hah, yeah, our tiny cat thought she was as big as a bear, so she’d always run after them and try to face them down. I suppose one day they had enough, so she had a beak-shaped hole right on top of her shoulders. Cost a bundle at the vet. Those turkeys would hang out in the road, and they came up almost to the top of…
That’s hilarious. Many years ago in the early aughts, I was living in Eugene, Oregon, which happens to be a mecca for burned out hippies, white supremacists, and meth-heads.
Yeah, I just went through this. The only way was to call, set up the deal, and then once they agree to a price, go in person, and be ready to argue the deal again. I got 5k off at 0 percent, but it took some haggling, even though they had confirmed the deal ahead of time. King, Lindsay, Stohlman, and the other VA…
Right. I seem to have misunderstood your post claiming that the EU has banned bendy bananas.
