Wait, who were you thinking of? Kenneth Branagh, Shane Black or Jon Favreau?

MOOOOOLTEEEEEPASS

Trivial shit is all we have.

Trailer tomorrow. Trailer. Tomorrow.

The Wu better bring the motherfucking ruckus after this, they can't get co-opted by such an abominable cunt. WU-TANG CLAN AIN'T NOTHING TO FUCK WITH.

That's the central question of one of my favourite films, When Heifer Met Sammy.

I genuinely feel like De Niro in confrontational mode is way more threatening than Arnie in confrontational mode, despite the fact that Arnie is a man mountain.

[insert highly relevant Doctor Strangelove quotation here]

Damn, Oscar Isaac could work actually.

"Speed"

"Against Miami" is still the punchline, surely?

Yeah, he would've been magnificent. David Oyelowo was my top pick for a while though.

As confounding as I find that, I don't know how anyone could rank any other Tarantino movie beneath it.

It's just awful, and incredibly unengaging. The worst thing about it is that it's pure Tarantino, to the point where the endurance test of watching it can make viewers question whether or not they actually ever liked Tarantino.

"Find me a more perfect action movie, I dare you."

On a conceptual level I'm not prepared to be impressed, because you're absolutely right. I'm basing it on performance alone. He is extremely good at conveying intimidation, pathos… I'd be shocked if Marvel did anything with any villain that felt wholly refreshing. I just think Ejiofor will make for a strong antagonist.

It's already apparent to me that Chiwetel Ejiofor is going to be Marvel's best villain, so they sure as hell better use him for the next film. He acted Swinton and Cumberbatch off the screen, and I'm a fan of both.

I wish Pine had a better career.

It's always on lists of best Christmas movies now.

Contrarians: please tell me your non-Die Hard pick for Great American Action Picture.
