Pretty sure he means the latter. And even then, I'm sure there are circumstances under which he'd be cool with it. For instance: when he wrote "Just Imagine…Stan Lee Creating the DC Universe" (yes, that was a thing), he made Batman black.

"You could be any kid. You could be black, you could be Asian, you could be Indian, you could be anything and imagine you were in that [Spider-Man] costume. So I think that made it relevant to everybody, everywhere. And that was accidental - I don't think we planned it that way, but it was very fortuitous." - Stan Lee

This show doesn't really kick off until the third episode, they should've made the first two episodes a feature length pilot, I think.

Back to the Future.

That is perfectly cromulent headcanon.

I'd like for them to be animated movies.

I think the Anthology movies could get away with telling some stories in the PT era that work as replacements in a way. You could do an Order 66 movie with Vader, a Kenobi movie, a Mon Mothma/Bail Organa rebels movie… I dunno. They're already primed for it.

I don't see why you'd need to compress it that much. Literally everyone wants a long-running franchise/universe nowadays, trilogies are small potatoes.

Why don't you just spit in Scorsese's face? Taking his Oscar away seems more cruel.

"Instead of a towheaded moppet, Obi-Wan should have found an orphaned, abused teenager, full of potential and anger in equal measure."

Wouldn't have been down with killing MJ, and they'd broken up at the end of Spider-Man 3 anyway. I do pity the fool who plays JJJ after JK Simmons.

Where'd you read that? It's what I said the moment they cast him. They'd already: setup Curt Conners, introduced Gwen Stacy, and had him attending college which is a pretty damn similar stat quo to what they went with. They could have made the exact movie they made, a relatively clean break, without ANY of the retread

"Am I the only one who wants the married 30 something spiderman? That's what I grew up with"

A Kendrick/Lupe collabo could be incredible.

Black people are allowed to like Coldplay, and hating them doesn't make you cool so you can stop doing that at anytime.

Do we actually know anything about LupE.N.D. apart from the fact that it could have been the not-shit Lasers though?

Never had one of those "I don't usually like rap but Eminem is the best rapper who ever lived" conversations, huh?

"STEVE HOLT!" - Steve Holt

I have a relative that infrequently (but that's frequently enough) shares Islamophobic news stories from tabloids on Facebook. Thankfully, without comment. Drives me absolutely insane though.
