No one knows what it means, but it's provocative. Gets the people going!

Really enjoying the show so far, but I worry that it doesn't have enough of a hook at the moment. I don't know how they would've pitched this if it weren't the spinoff of a crazily successful show.

Yeah, I think Renner's got this.

Yeah, a younger Craig would've been perfect.

I think that's sort of the point, it looks plenty garish without being loud on top of that. I'm generally a fan of brighter colours for costumes, just not all that irritated by them being dialled back, especially when some designs depart so much from what I'd like to see in more notable ways (i.e. Quicksilver and

I really don't think Iron Man counts because Tony isn't wearing tights. It could be hot pink and still not err on the gaudy side. Okay, that's an exaggeration, but you know what I mean. It's an exoskeleton, not spandex, the same rules don't apply. As for Cap, Age of Ultron has definitely moved away from the

Never watched Buffy, so that doesn't mean a lot to me.

Agreed, but she could scarcely be further from how Supergirl is typically depicted, seems like an odd choice at best and serious miscast at worst.

The first few were fun though.

The only Marvel hero to rock bright colours is Captain America in The Avengers and that costume has been abandoned.

Blue Beetle is extremely similar to Arrow in a lot of ways though, right? He's sort of like Arrow without the archery. Another not-Batman. At least The Atom has the powers thing going for him. It is weird that it's still unclear why the swap happened though.

I'm so done with the flashbacks, I've wanted them to abandon that structure since the first season.

- Ra's casting is a handicap. He lacks gravitas.
- I still can't stand Laurel. That's two weak links…
- I ♥︎ Willa Holland.
- I really hope that if they introduce another love interest for Felicity, it's a normal dude.
- I thought we were past "The Green Batman" thing.

"I feel like a second season will happen."

Not a massive Trekkie or anything, but the Trek universe. Even for a nobody, you're in a virtually utopian meritocracy with teleportation, replicators, holodecks, universal translators and interstellar travel (hello Risa).

They could always sell it as "character-centric" episodes, like Lost, essentially meaning every member of the ensemble gets to enjoy the limelight, rather than an anthology series or whatever.

Surely it's just a The Brave and the Bold type of thing…

Is Jessica Lucas busy?

*looks over at Kevin Feige*

They never really showed her backstory, could be a whole bunch of flashback stuff.
