The whole Cece-can't-make-drinks thing feels very Rachel-can't-make-coffee.

I enjoyed Fringe, but I thought it was very inconsistent. I'm in the minority when it comes to the episodes I preferred too, I usually liked the case-of-the-week episodes involving The Pattern more than anything, which is weird because I much prefer serialised storytelling in general.

I feel like he was cast for his eyes and the casting director just watched Zero Dark Thirty.

I don't think Fringe started out as strong as Helix has at all.

100% agreed. I was worried Jonathan Banks would be nerd stunt casting too, but thankfully that does not appear to be the case.

Absolutely thought Ben was double-bluffing with the prank.

Either way, she should be in some kind of care facility and not on our screens. Win-win. SOMETHING'S going on, because while I find it impossible to belive that she was ever good on Supernatural she's definitely worsened in almost every respect on this show since Season 1, and it's all the more noticeable because

Smallville was so shamelessly salacious I expected a lot more from Arrow.

Tossed in there so casually.

But they are casting black…this is a paradox.

"Heck Bendis could write that."

"these next four episodes are really about Laurel"

I'm convinced Katie Cassidy is on hard drugs. Her new face can't be just surgery, it looks like it has had the life sucked out of it. It could be a health issue or something, to be fair, and I'll feel bad if it is, but I find this more distracting than anything. Well, that and her line readings… her "I'm so sorry"

Rian Johnson's humour/drama balance is pretty unique, Brick is a testament to that. I don't doubt that the gangsters were supposed to be a bit of a visual gag.

They were both part of the same idea from the beginning though…

Who said anything about THAT Elektra movie? The character is great, that movie is not representative of how good an Elektra movie could be. Danvers doesn't seem generic, SHE IS GENERIC. There's next to nothing unique about the character, it's ridiculous. I can't imagine a world in which a film based on her exploits is

Not giving Superman a kisscurl and overpants is sacrilege that betrays an embarassment and lack of understanding of the character, whereas ageing Hank Pym up is clearly in service of story.

I'm sure Douglas will suit up at some point over the course of the film, and there are actresses 50+ that wouldn't have trouble convincing us they could kick ass and marry Michael Douglas. Michelle Yeoh, for one. Jodie Foster, for another. Angela Bassett…I'm sure the list could go on.

I'd much sooner see Black Widow, She-Hulk or Elektra than Warbird/Ms Marvel/Captain Marvel/Generic Flying Brick Woman With No Stories.

100%. Well, showers anyway.
