No love for "The Girl in the Fireplace"?

"Vincent and the Doctor" happened during Moffat's run. Game, set, match.
I really don't feel that way at all, to me Season 6 is the most consistent of all NuWho. Even the arguably weak episodes were average at worst, not absolutely dire as you'd find in other seasons, and like you say…those high points are very high.
Jessica said "Bye ladies", does that count?
I like Kives a lot. I think he's an excellent point of contrast for the other three characters feeling sorry for themselves and wasting their potential. It's also nice to see how far Stuart's dickery goes.
I thought he said *our* favourite movie, which is even more deluded.
He looks like Aardman animated him.
I don't know what the RULES are!
Sonia's great piece on how the black men in the series (and other Fox shows) don't have roles solely relating to their race
I like that her chief characteristic is wanting to be liked. Especially considering she's kind of been labelled the Ann Perkins of the show.
I can't believe mouthfeel is a legitimate term. What with this and umami I feel like this show is subliminally making foodies out of all of us.
"It's really fucking hard to find reviews"
It's called "Change"! We got that answer a lot sooner than I expected.
Yeah, I wasn't rolling my eyes at the trusty old hit-me-with-your-car gag.
"That first class ass is sitting in coach tonight! And best believe my seat will be in an upright and LOCKED position."
"Oh, I thought it was energy-bending myself. In the finale Tenzin talks about how ancient peoples used to bend the energy within themselves, then Korra goes on to do that whole spirit-kaiju thing. It's the same thing the Lion Turtle told Aang when he learned how to take away bending."
I only ever visited io9 on anything like a regular basis, so I stuck with it, and used the old version until they reverted to the blogroll format. It's a downgrade (or two) for sure, but I got used to it. The worst thing they did was the comments section. The first time they screwed it up someone made a great…
Avoiding The Lost Boys? It wasn't completely on purpose.
Yeah, spirit-bending is what everyone was calling what Aang did at the end of Fire. I don't see how energy could be different or what that would even ultimately mean, that's what I find confusing about that really. If energy isn't spirit, what is it? And how would you have it as the cornerstone of a story? I guess…
I get it.
