Magneto referred to mutants as Homo-superior from the get go though.

Also, bonus, she's not brunette. Variety!

@avclub-8e35e4199b0c90595814faaf747d9554:disqus Yeah, it would be awesome if Ward were the "Jerry" of the team! More frowns on record.

@avclub-7399a8aa203c68565ff7196769deadc6:disqus , there is no way they're killing off Skeye Candy. She's the not-so-secret actual protagonist. The River Tam of the group.

What's annoying is that my favorite subversion of this IS IN THE AVENGERS, when Stark says "finally someone who speaks English" to Banner, after they Science! with each other.

"she looks like someone who spends a lot of time outside, with people"

I think he's gonna be called Green Lantern because he's a beacon of hope and he wears green.

She has more chemistry with Diggle. That's a ship that needs to sail.

Damn, I don't remember that. That seems like a huge mistake.

The Penetrator.

I liked that too, and liked that they made the audience say it to themselves. I'm curious to see how and when they see fit to work it in now, because if he were just going to make it up on the spot, that wouldn't have been the worst moment to do it.

It has its flaws, but as of right now, it's probably one of the best televised superhero shows ever. It really seems like they have a master plan too, which is the last thing I expected. They're not rushing into things, but they're not spinning their wheels either.

Pallana was by all accounts a pretty great man in general, and an awesome part of Wes Anderson's troupe. Wes Anderson movies just got a little less Wes Andersony.

And Jason Schwartzman could've done the Edward Norton role, but Wes Anderson is branching out. He's clearly in his experimental phase. If you look really closely at some of the shots they're practically dutch angles.

I think Jess will move in with Cece when things go wrong with Nick or something.

Comment of the Year.

They could always revisit the fact that he and Schmidt both pursued Cece to begin with…

The Snoopy Effect.

The smoothie was the best.

I don't like the idea that he has to be softened to be likeable. Some of us liked the character right away! The douchyness should always exist, even if it's below the surface. Besides, it's not like he's become evil, he's just acting out. Same dude.
