Sure there wasn’t a mistake in translation Brian? Because...I call this place “heaven” ;)
I know where I’m going after payday next week. Thanks for the heads up!!
For me, that’s the point. Never played a Fire Emblem game before, but I love me some Dynasty Warriors. Or Samurai Warriors. Or Gundam/One Piece/Hyrule/whatever Warriors.
It was incredibly tame 25 years ago also, but was just the next hyperbole for the evil that was corrupting our youth like Rock N Roll, TV, Movies, Heavy Metal, Rap Music, Doom, Mortal Kombat, etc....
Seriously, what the fuck happened to CNN? They used to be top quality.
I don’t know why any country wants to host the Olympics these days, best case scenario it’s a huge cost that you might see recouped after several years of tourism and reusing the new facilities, worst case scenario is this, a post-apocalyptic hellscape with increased crime all around.

The new reboot has softened Scrooge even more. There are jokes in the original show’s first episode that make it nearly impossible for a modern audience to like him—one of first bits of dialogue is about how the poor don’t deserve anything.
But...why can’t the same gimmick be used? It is, essentially, a different audience. Or is that they feel the humor needs to be softened for a different cultural climate? The article mentions the prior jokes about the poor being in bad taste, or not funny, but that is the idea isn’t it? That he thought his comments…
I thought the whole point of the original cartoon was taking a mean Scrooge (see that, SCROOOOOOOGE), where the sudden introduction of his nephews changes his world, and they create a sort of balance to his behavior (and eventually soften his heart). If that was all changed, and he is a nice guy who isn’t a jerk to…
Wait- but the joke of Scrooge McDuck has always been that he’s a cheap, mean bastard that eventually, and very much against his better judgment, does the right thing. Are you saying they removed the best parts of the character?
A few years back showed my kid old Loony Tunes for the first time.
Uh, woman who reads comics here (just pointing out that you probably will consider me an SJW for that), but the only Starfire I know is from the old Teen Titans comics. Too old to have watched the cartoons.
YOUR 32 PART SERIES LAMBASTING EVERY TEAM IS ONLY BIASED AGAINST MINE!!!!
Way to prove everything he said
Having not heard of Nippert Stadium before (my only trip to Cincy was for one day on a business trip and I stayed over in Kentucky for some reason, and I don’t follow UC football or Cincinnati FC), I looked it up on Wikipedia. Here’s how the stadium got its name:
I’d be excited about your riveting 17-6 loss to KC in the divisional round, but to be honest with you, I don’t think you will see anybody in the playoffs.
