For my parents' wedding anniversary, my dad got my mom a fancy japanese toilet with a bidet function. That's love right there.

What qualifies as "need"? I feel like my bum gets really sore if I don't use them, and I can't get completely clean. Even when I don't have wipes, I wet the toilet paper a bit. So like, I guess I don't need it to survive, but it's really not very comfortable.
oh man, I think there's like one week a month now when I'm not bleeding or spotting. Do the heavy periods and spotting ever let down?
how are you liking slow carb?
I think the key to sticking to a diet is to let yourself cheat. I think not giving yourself the opportunity to do that is just leading up to a big crash and gaining all the weight back. Beyond that, cooking for yourself is probably the biggest thing you can do. I have no idea how people do diets if they don't cook.…
I usually still wear a pad if I'm having a really heavy flow. This is probably not great, but I don't wash the cup out if I am at work. I was my hands before using the bathroom, then just dump the contents out and put it back in. Sometimes I wet a paper towel before I go and wipe the cup down before reusing. Yeah,…
Sorry, I must have been confused by your post. I'm lucky right now that we have a private one person bathroom in my office, but I went through my senior year of college in a dorm bathroom with a diva cup and it was fine. I tried to change it in the shower most of the time.
1) softcups are not the diva cup. Diva cup = awesome, softcups = devil spawn of menstruation products. I have seriously never met anything worse at mitigating my period than the softcups. They are messy, they press on your bladder, and generally just suck hardcore.
My diva cup was probably the best purchase decision I ever made other than my bike. I've had it for maybe 7 years now? Yeah it still leaks and stuff, but I always felt like tampons leaked so much more.
crackers/granola not= gyro sandwich. Also, the DC trains have gotten so rough. Is it just me? Half the time it feels like a drunk toddler must be driving the thing, particular when it comes to a stop at the platform.
I have a real problem with the title of this post. Nothing in the article states that only black students were put through this. I've seen similar curriculum where all the students pretend they are Jews in a concentration camp, or whatever genocide they are studying. It's supposed to teach peace and conflict issues.…
I was having lunch with a friend yesterday, when she said "I'm sorry to be distracted, but there is a woman behind you eating with her feet and it's amazing." Sure enough, there was a young woman sitting behind me, business pant suit, with a fork between her toes, eating her meal. It is truly amazing what people can…
any suggestions for multicity trips when you know which cities you want to go to?
According the report, he get's paid in cat food. I wonder if they do it by direct deposit.
The "I could paint that" pieces of art aren't at museums because they require great skill. They are important art because of the statements they make about art and culture. I get that "On The Road" is part of that, a statement and record of beat culture, doesn't mean I have to like reading it or think it's good…
I was once commenting on a website where someone said "literature can be objectively good or bad." I said "no, it can't. It can only be subjective. We have some agreed upon measures of what can be considered 'good' literature, but they are not objective measures." And I mentioned Catcher in the Rye and Heart of…
I have a friend who seriously loves it.
I do not get On the Road. I can write a bunch of dribble while I'm on a prolonged acid trip too.
Man, I love The Sound and The Fury. I also loved not understanding like half of it, but I still seriously liked it.
I know, seriously. I was in 9th grade.
