I picked up my EU (German) passport yesterday, and I’m looking forward to using it for the first time next month when I go to Germany next month with my son for the Stolpersteine ceremony in the small village in the Schwarzwald where my mother’s family lived for more than 200 years.

You have a right to end a relationship for any reason, and to feel repelled by anything, but I’m not sure that a man wearing women’s underwear (regardless of what kind!) exactly falls in the same category as the violation that’s being talked about.

I loved the Sopranos, but never watched the last season. Is what you’re referring to the episode where basically the only truly likable character gets executed after they find out she was working undercover (even though the FBI had forced her to do so)? Her character dying still upsets me when I think about it.

When I was quite young, writing scripts (and sometimes rehearsing them) was just about the only way I could manage making telephone calls to people I didn’t know, even for the simplest things.

I’m about the same age as your mother, and she’s right: not only am I way “too old” for men my age; there are a lot of 70-80 year olds who would think I’m too old for them!
